Even at very easy, the computer was always wooping my ass. Still, the finishers were always awesome. The 2-d ones were the best.

One of my local arcades has the original machine, so good. I still haven't figured out how you do the finishing moves, though...

its fun to see how the enemy rapes us with those moves, and they dont even have a movelist in game. the only way to use fatality was using a 1 button fatality cheat. hehehehe.

Oh come on.

You had movelists, you had to be ninja about that shit though. Walk into the grocery store, look for the magazine, and tear out the strategy pages when nobody was looking. That's how it worked back in the day.

I really really hate every Mortal Kombat game after Mortal Kombat 3 though.. Just got really old and stale then. Rain FTW!

@ kawaianpunch : dude i said no movelist "ingame" (that means, when ure in match, u press pause the game and then select the movelist option from the list).
but no, when u pause the game u only saw controler options and quit.

yeah, i used to buy a gamezine and look at the book , play the game, fatality time, pause the game look at the fatality button combination, unpause, *enemy drops dead* =========> FVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVck

The only one who can beat Shao Kahn in MK3 is Noob Saibot NO ONE ELSE, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! Nothing else to say

I played against Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat II for Gameboy, and it's very possible to kill him using many of the characters. However, Scorpion, Reptile, Mileena, and Kitana are literally useless against Shao Kahn as they have short reach and their range attacks seem to be always programmed to be blocked. Shao Kahn always blocks slide attacks and Scorpion's whip-drag move. Reptile is just bad against Shao Kahn as his forceball and slide don't work. Liu Kang's crouching fireball is the best technique simply because Shao Kahn never crouches or jumps, so he can't block that move, but it's hard to execute many crouching fireballs in succession.

Shao Kahn is probably one of the cheapest boss I've ever seen. You can't throw him, you can't block his attacks, many special moves don't work against this guy, and his charging shoulder ram attack is unblockable and if you let him go on his steam, he'll just keep ramming you until you're backed up against the wall with nowhere to go.

Mileena? Not good for Shao Kahn? i've deafeted Shao Kahn with her like a thousand times.

For MKII Gameboy? I've always had a hard time her sai attack, which was to hold the B button for two seconds. The main problem is that Shao Kahn blocks her rolling attack almost 80% of the time, making it a useless special attack against him, leastwise in MKII.
