This among the early game from Koei b4 Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors came along
it got some cool feature from historic figures from china heroes
its among good RTS turn based game i play and the tutorial is not the walk in the park >.<
so far the latest was ROTK XI its a fun addictive and hard game. ^^

I like this series. The first one I played was VII for the PS2 and it was pretty good. X is my favorite, and I wish they had made an english pc version. The fan translations aren't complete since there is a huge amount of dialogue and it was only officially translated for the PS2.
I thought XI was good, but it wasn't the same. XI is more of a kingdom leader game, where the others you play as an officer and do whatever. I loved making friends with other officers, joining a faction and climbing in rank, getting a group of soldiers and taking over a city for myself, etc. There were so many things to do. I would like to see the series to continue and be successful.

I love these games: have I, VIII, and X.
Being an officer could be interesting in VIII or X, but ruling a kingdom was definitely where it was at for me. Eventually you had to delegate to make the game sane(and the AI for your governors could really suck), but I enjoyed calling the shots from the top most.
I'm hoping they are actually going to make another on PS3.
Anyone play the forerunner to ROTK, Bandit Kings of Ancient China on NES? Another great game.

I bought IV (I think) on the Wii's Virtual Console after seeing the original cartridge going for $50 at Half Price Books. Only problem is I have no idea how to play!! ; _ ;
Are there any good guides available anywhere? By good, I mean it can explain how to play and possibly a walkthrough. I am to tired to troll through GameFAQs tonight.
