Childhood memories

Already posted twice in IB, but always seems to die because of the barrage of new threads. Seems like an appropriate chat topic, I'll start.

Mischief makers (nintendo 64)

the N64 vs Psone era was so amazing...ah the nostalgia

My most memorable one was when I was in morning latchkey in 2nd grade.

We were in the cafeteria this day since the gym was being remodeled (or something).

Anyway, we were playing tag while the tables were all set up, and I was "it". I was running around where the entrance was (and where kids usually leave there stuff) and slipped on a windbreaker someone left on the ground.

I fell down and hit my nose directly on the pointy seat corner of one of the tables laid out. The result was lying on the ground for a bit, unconscious, and pool of blood that took up the area of a small coffee table.

My dad left work and picked me up before school had even began, brought me to a doctor to see if I was alright (I was extremely cold, go figure).

To make me feel better, he brought me to a blockbuster to rent me a game. I chose Resident Evil 2.

So basically, if I had not lost gratuitous amounts of blood out of my nose, I would not be the RE fan I am today.

Good man, but what about silent hill?

A buddy and myself spent days upon days playing these motherfuckers. Good times.

this is way before my time but they used to play it everyday on the kids channel so i grew up with it
