I still can't seem to understand it....How did it go from an "okay" movie with a lot of potential and a good story in AvP to a crappy baby killing AvP2 movie? I'm still going to watch PREDATORS with little hope for a decent movie. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It might be better than I expect it to be, just because I don't expect much of it...
AvP was still "kinda okay", at least until the middle/ending of the film. The promo and the general plot of AvP2 was so ridiculous that I have never watched it.
It would be totally awesome if it was even half as good as the original Predator, but life is not as beautiful.

It doesn't look like this will suffer from the same mistakes from the predecessors, I mean what works for the original Predator is because
-All the characters in the story were armed and dangerous people (except the Vietnamese girl)
-They had very memorable one liners
-It was pretty damned suspenseful (only that this time we know who the Predators are so that would be eliminated)
-We got Arnold muthafucking Schwarzeneggar (which we won't see, shame..)
-Guns, lots of them.
Hopefully this movie should meet the criteria, and plus they can't go wrong with bringing an actual director in this movie Robert Rodriguez. Meaning that movies these days have just too many directors which are just fail.
