I have played it, beat it on single player, and it was alright. Now waiting to get Xbox Live to play online.

You dont need XBL to play PSU online, you pay for it through Sega's website. Kinda like FFXI.

I've got the game... The game takes too long to get into. Its fun... Just it NEEDs to be multiplayer. No other people to play with, this game is roo tedious.

I played it online on PC. Have a copy for PC, PS2 and X-Box360. I don't have X-Box 360 itself though. If it's possible i would like to play in Phantasy Star Portable on PSP through Adhoc Party.

just happen to download "ambitions of illuminus" for free last night and happen to start up my psu. thinking awesome I got an add-on to teh singleplayer. went to teh add on and it says I have to buy teh guardians license to play it online. I am like fraq that 9.99 a month just to play psu add-on online. >.> my hopes of more psu awesomeness was shot down instantly cause of that bs.
