Sniper Ghost Warrior

Apparently it boasts that it will be a realistic snipers game where there's bullet drop, wind, etc. Snipers only game...what's your opinion?

It looks like Call of Duty, except with only Sniper rifles, Id like to see how the story goes along with that. Multiplayer would probably be annoying, seeing as you can only use sniper rifles and you have to hide everywhere

Another FPS... we can't seem to have enough of those these days. Frankly I'm getting tired with all the FPS getting released one after another as if they came from a conveyer belt.

Also this one brags to be more realistic. Am I the only one that sees the irony here? I can't seem to ignore the fact that people play games to escape reality and yet games these days are doing its best to come closer to reality.

the main reason people plays games is to escape realism.If you have total realism in a game,it wouldnt be very fun.

Well... The only decent sniper based game out there is Sniper Elite and it went out 5 years ago. It might be FPS but i doubt it'll be anything like a COD or a BF.

lol i played a sniper game on the ps1,cant remember.Only has 10 missions but each are difficult.

Some missions you only have 1 bullets and have to wait like 5 mins to wait for the right moment.

By the looks of it, the game will finally be one of those "Slow, Tactical and Relatively Free of Idiots" game.

Hmm, I just thought of something.. I bet there will be a machinima about 2 people arguing on who will be the "sniper bait".



What about ArmA 2 huh? It's one hell of a fun game and PC Gamer loves it.

Necrobump I just finished the game in 4 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad.

I've been thinking of picking up this game. I'm one of those "sniper fanatics" that reviewers have said might actually enjoy the game. Too bad the online community is apparently non-existent.

I was online and 15-20 people were online playing. (2days ago)

I really enjoyed the main story mode.

I might look into it then. Too bad I've got so many other games on my list as it stands. Buh-bye tax check.

Buy it used the game should be around 25 - 30 bucks. Do not pay over 30 for it. I give it a 7/10.

So... other than sniping what else can we do here?

I believe around 5-7 sections of the game you are using M4's and Browings.
