Xenoblade Website
Xenoblade is an upcoming role-playing video game published by Nintendo and developed by Monolith Soft for the Wii console.
The Japanese release was named Xenoblade to honor Tetsuya Takahashi, "who poured his soul into making this and who has been working on the Xeno series". The game is set for a "spring 2010" release. The North American version's title is still unconfirmed and listed with the temporary name "Monado: Beginning of the World.
It has also been stated that the game will convey the feeling of freedom to the player, and won't be as focused on cutscenes and story as its sibling games.

Xenoblade will attempt to convey the feeling of freedom through large, expansive environments.
Characters
Shulk is the main protagonist of Xenoblade. Early details show that he is able to wield the Excalibur-like Xenoblade. His first act upon acquiring the "destined weapon" is to hunt the mararuders that destroyed his village, a "Colony 9."
Fiorun is Shulk's childhood friend and the younger sister of Dunban, the previous wielder of the Xenoblade.
Dunban is the oldest PC (30). For reasons yet to be revealed, he wielded the Xenoblade against a vague enemy (perhaps the parties involved with the struggle between the universe's twin gods). It is not known if Dunban won or lost this conflict, but he sports a wound from that battle that persists despite attempts to heal it.
Rein - Another of Shulk's friends. Although he is a member of Colony 9's Defense Force, he can often be seen at Shulk and Fioren's side.
Carna - A Defense Force warrior of Colony 6. Her speciality is projectile weapons.
Melia - A powerful mage that lives on the god Kyoshin.
Riki - A member of as-of-yet unnamed race of merchants. Riki is a "black sheep" for his denying his race's destiny. A natural story-teller, he will go on at length that he is actually the TRUE legendary hero spoken in the prophecies
The game looks good so far. The environments and landscapes are very enormous and the cast looks decent and because this has Xeno in it's name, knowing Monolith I can expect to find some easter eggs or cameos from the other series games.

The only "Xeno" game I ever played was Xenogears which was really good (unfortunately I never beat it =p). I heard the Xenosaga series was good too, but I missed out on those also. And now I see Xenoblade coming out for the Wii (which I have =D) and I hope I can get it. If it's anything like Xenogears, then I'm sure it's going to be a good game that is worth buying.

FUCK YEAH. Love Soma Bringer games.... and it's not really a Xeno game. Didn't we have a Monado thread already? I could've sworn I was talking about how awesome the music was on the official website. Also, the environments look fucking gorgeous.
Edit:
Now I don't need to worry about this turning into a FF12. Hooray!
Edit 2:
Overview Trailer
Can change player's character, can change outfits, can attach things to your weapon, city rebuilding ... It's like it's Dark Cloud 3.

does america have it yet???Nope, its still not scheduled to be release in America. Fans have been trying to convince NOA for a release though(Operation Rainfall),but to no avail.
We'll see what happens but, if by this year's end this game still does not a release date, I'll have no choice but to either import it or mod my Wii to play it. I'm excited to play the game already, it has become one of my most expected games of the year.
