Explorer.exe's Autorefreshing
0
Hello.
Does anyone here be able to think anything that would cause the following problem AND/OR have a way to solve the problem.
explorer.exe (no, NOT IEXPLORER.EXE AKA INTERNET EXPLORER) does not refresh itself, for example if i try to rename an image called car.jpg into motor.jpg, the image will still be seen as car.jpg (since the explorer doesn't autorefresh itself to see the changes that have been made).
This occurs with all actions, creating an item (folder/file), copy/paste/cut etc.
And it's not a spyware or anything like that. Also it happens at random times and gets fixed randomly. Today i took a DVD off from my DVD drive after restarting my computer.
I've tried googling about it as well, but haven't found anything that would permanently fix this problem <__>

Happens to me all the damn time and I still haven't fixed it either.
I've tried everything suggested in both pages of this humongous 2 part thread about it: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/09fd46ff-65f1-4fa7-ae2d-9f3b2644fad6
Look at my post near the bottom for all the things I tried and maybe your issue will be resolved by doing it. Good luck and if you fix it let me know. Also you can think you have it fixed only for it to start happening again about a week later. Its pretty annoying when you download something with Firefox and it will error out because it tries to rename the .part file to what it should be. The frequency of it happening is random and a restart will fix the actions that you did. I blame the library system and indexing.
