Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

New 2D Castlevania for the XBLA and part of the Summer of Arcade event.
From Xbox.com
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (Konami Digital Entertainment). Dracula takes a bite out of Xbox LIVE Arcade with Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. This fast-paced 2-D side scroller takes vampire hunters on a chase to bring Dracula, the Lord of Darkness, to his eternal slumber. Designed by the producer of the legendary Castlevania series, Koji Igarashi, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair allows friends to play together via online co-op story mode or duke it out to see who the best vampire hunter is in Survival Mode.
This had potential to be my dream Castlevania game. 2D side-scrolling action (what Castlevania is good at), characters from some of my favorite Castlevania games, using the same sprites that we're familiar with, and co-op. However there are two things that I don't like about it.
The first is no experience system so we won't get that satisfying level up tune when killing a monster. I can live with that, though, and just get stronger by the gear we collect. The second is that it is "fast-paced" and there appears to be stages with an objective (like slay a boss) and a time limit. My favorite part of castlevania is exploring a large castle finding items, secret areas, and going in to every room. I prefer to take my time and enjoy it rather than be rushed.
Anyway, I don't know the details so I'll wait to see for sure. I'll still give this game a chance since I love Castlevania. I'm currently playing through all the DS Castlevanias as well as SotN for this occasion.
I've heard of a July 28 release, but not from reliable sources yet.

I play it on PS3. Main Charlotte, Subs Simon/Jonatan. Have all 11 chapters. Live in Finland Europe and use 3G shitty internet connection.
If that sounds promising, i will welcome any party.
P.S. If connection will be bad enough, i might get disconnected xD

Well, at least I'll add you first. (or add me Kai_Max61)
Mains are Alucard and Soma. Yeah OP characters, but I like them.
Haven't downloaded any DLC though, at least not yet.
Just finished normal, got lucky with Alucard when I got Daybreak from Brauner. Usually playing Co-Op with my sister who uses Shanoa.

They are not OP they just easy to level. Charlotte is much more powerfull if leveled to the max, not to mention that since you have to absorb magic even from bosses.....i pretty much kill every boss in the game with no damage taken at this point. DLC chapters are great and totally worth it.
I will add you asap.
