The Village was complete shit and anyone who liked it should feel bad. Also, I don't think I'll watch anything from him again. Last movie was I saw of his was The Happening. Only because it had Mark Wahlberk and Zooey Deschanel. Not that great needless to say.
Spoilers: they killed themselves. That's the twist. I'M CALLING IT NOW D:

Well the trailer looks pretty interesting to me, and the only thing that's keeping me from hating him is his 'Sixth sense' and 'Signs'...

That or there's a gas leak and they're all hallucinating.

The twist is the whole thing was a dream while they were all inside the elevator and they all get out okay, the end

Main difference here is M. Night is only producing 'Devil', he isnt directing it like with other things that have come out reciently connected to his name (see: last airbender, the happening, lady in the water). Producer is tricky since most of the time, producers dont actually DO anything except slap their names on the movie to give it some sort of credibility (see: transformers) although this would seem counter productive with his recient efforts. Chances are though he will have little input into the creative direction of the movie, for that you should look towards the films directors Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. With both only having a screenwriting credit to their names, and only Dowdle with a directorial (see: Quarantine, remake of the movie 'REC'), we cant really establish much of the guys style in film making so its really up in the air at this point. I truley hope for the best though since they have the source material, they just have to make it work!
