I certainly do. Currently reading "Global Capitalism: It's fall and rise in the twentieth century" and it's a non-stop roller coaster of economic history!
I read lots of normal "early adulthood books" as well though. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and To Kill a Mocking Bird were the more recent ones. I tried to get into Gulliver's Travels but school work kinda put that on the back burner. I'll get back to it once I finish what I'm currently reading.

I read a lot, mostly science fiction and fantasy, but not exclusively. To Kill a Mockingbird is quite excellent. If you like early adulthood stuff, try Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I'm currently reading Earth Ascendant by Sean Williams, but it's not that long so I'll be starting on Tad Williams (no relation) Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy soon. I just finished The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez, it was ok, I liked his earlier book Gil's All Fright Diner better. The last book I really enjoyed a lot was Pushing Ice by Alastair Reynolds, great characters and a story with a truly huge scope.

I used to have a wonderful reading habit, but now work and sleep dominate my schedule. I didn't get much done on my holiday either. Blast.

I usually like reading, though it's often a struggle since I'm not too far from blindness and can't concentrate my eyesight for long.
The last novel I finished is the german translation of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and I'm currently busy with Terry Pratchett's 'Going Postal' in original english.

Ah Terry Pratchett, good stuff, very funny and witty. My favorite Discworld books are the ones that focus on Sam Vines and the City Watch. I used to read Piers Anthony Xanth books too, but then I suffered from pun overload and couldn't read them anymore. If you're read any of them, you know what I'm talking about.
Lord of the Rings and Foundation are some nice classics, though I never got around to reading all the Foundation books, I felt it dragged on a little. Haven't gotten around to the Dune stuff yet. As for epic fantasy, I've read all of the Wheel of Time books and they're good, but I think George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series is better.
I liked Terry Brooks earlier Shannara series, the newest one looks interesting too. I'll try to check it out when it's finished.
Let me know if you want any scifi/fantasy series recommendations, just say what kinda stuff u like. I wasn't kidding when I said I read a lot =).

Yup, I have since I was...uh...able to read? Currently I'm reading the latest Star Wars series.Same here. I always keep up with Star Wars, and aside from that I read a lot of Orson Scott Card, and some fantasy stuff like Anne McCaffrey. I try to read some non-fiction stuff too... But I'm shallow, and haven't been feeling like it lately :?

In all honestly I don't like Terry Pratchet. From the books that I read I only found 3 of his witty lines funny.
I mostly read Science fiction, rarely get out of that genre. I Have read The Ender's game Series. (very good by the way) Dune I have read 3 books out of about a million.
I'm currently reading books on the Warhammer 40k World. ( I don't play the game but I find the settings very interesting)
Maybe we should all make a list of the books we have read?

I like Brian Jaques books. Their entertaining and British.mmmm...vittles.
Brian Jaques is awesome. I used to read his books a few years ago. I did end up stopping though, because all the plots were getting too repetitive, and I found that a little boring.

Sometimes though, I do find myself missing the way he describes the food.

When I read for fun, it is mostly fiction belonging to the fantasy genre.
Some of the authors whose works I read simply because I have always done so in the past include: R.A Salvatore (Drizzt Do'Urden series), Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (Dragonlance series), Haruki Murakami (his novels are complicated).
I am sure there are others but my memory is failing me right now... and my stomach is rumbling.

Most of what I read is general fiction with no specific author. I dabble in everything except crime and mystery novels. I find them too boring and cookie-cutter for my tastes.
