1.You have really shity taste.
2. Kiki is from the 90's. Don't contradict yourself. You said the greatest movies of the decade so why would you put that?

Rather than nominating a specific movie id rather just nominate a director.
Id like to nominate Christopher Nolan as director of the decade.
Starting with Memento in 2000 and working up to Inception in 2010, he has not made a wrong step in his filmmaking, with all of his films garnering critical success and box office superiority.
While there were other great movies out by other great directors, he was the one consistently releasing great movies all decade.
Including Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and Inception. Most will say they enjoyed the majority, if not all of these movies, and thats what this is all about, enjoyment. There are very few directors left whose names incite ideas like 'thats going to be a good movie' like Christopher Nolan. :3

I dunno. The Prestige wasn't that great in my opinion.Maybe not as much compared to his others, but it was still praised by critics, thus why its on the list. It's really the only one of his I havn't seen, but it seemed to add to the point I was trying to make so I added it in there.
Just from a critical standpoint you understand, there were other directors who put out great works of film mixed in with great misses, but he seems to be the only one, besides Pixar, who puts out something respectable each time.

I'm sorry, but I feel that I have to explain my choices. To me, there's gotta be something that makes me feel that a certain movie is 'great'. I'll admit for most of those movies I listed I did so because I liked them. But there are a few I listed because they achieved something in the film industry. For example, the movie Serenity should've never even existed as it was a continuation of a cancelled tv show. But sure enough, it got enough support from fan's, the creaters, and the original cast of the show and soon wound up on the silver screen. It may not seem that big of a deal, but when movies like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Batman Begins (all of which received bigger budgets and were more widely known) all came out in the same year, it's suddenly a lot more impressive.
