lol the guy in the street just found out that the "love of his life" that he met a year ago is really a man. kinda seems like a sort of lame concept tho.... couldnt we have just done this at a emo infested school and ended up with the same thing? woulda cost alot less.

Wow this seems pretty interesting, but why does this feel like some manga I've read before? -_- I'll check it up and see.
Edit: ahhh the suicide thing reminded me of Alive - The Final Evolution

Holy shit. That looks a lot more hardcore then the theater trailers i saw made it out to be. I can't wait, love his movies in general.

You know I'm excited...about the movie.
I just wish the title could have been better, I mean, seriously The Happening doesn't really strike a tone as much as M. Nights other titles.
Oh, and, "What a twist"

Yeah exactly. Not sure if I'm gonna end up seeing it in theaters but, I'll see it eventually.

well... I was a fan of a few or mister M Night Shyamalan's films I am a bit apprehensive about Mark Whalberg; if you've seen any scene where he locks lips with a female you understand why I say this. I will see it but i'm not quite sure if it will be on dvd release or before.

The good thing about MNS movies is that they always make you think, and his horror movies are actually *horror* movies, not slashers or gore fests.

fuck...
i just read a early review from a guy who has done many great "spot on" reviews before... here this is a good part. don't worry, no spoilers
"The Happening" is a terrible, terrible movie. I mean, it's bad on an epic scale. It's so bad that I can't possibly tell you how bad it is without understating the point or making it sound like I'm picking on the film. But let me stress: this is not pent-up Shyamalan aggression or a desire to see him fail. This is bad in a jaw-dropping "they can't really be serious, can they?" kind of way. The closest comparison I can draw is to Neil LaBute's "Wicker Man" and, like that film, the only consolation I can offer potential theater-goers is that you might want to see it just to be in on the ground floor when the film gets its ass handed back to it.
So, in this review, he reveals the "villian" to point out why we will hate this film. I'm half glad/half pissed that I went on to read it. If you want to know what it is... pm me. If not, go see it and tell me what you think. I'll still watch it...and pray that it's not as bad as this guy says.
