Top Chef Fakku February - Cheese

1) Since we are on the internet, and we can't very well taste each other's dishes, we will be judging by how good your food looks. Use creative plate design and presentation, make fancy knife cuts, etc. Make us want to take the first flight available to your place so we can partake of your delicious dish!

2) You must post the recipe you used, and a source/link to said recipe, if available. If you create your own recipe, we give you mad props and that should be taken into account when voting, but it is not a requirement. If you made something difficult and/or time-consuming, that is also a plus. Recipes will be judged on how delicious they sound and how well they fit the theme for the month.

3) Post at least two pictures of the preparation and/or cooking process and at least one picture of the final product. Limit it to six total pictures, though. All pictures must include a sign that says Fakku, your user name, and the date. Pictures without a sign will NOT be considered.

4) Everybody can join; however, we will only accept one entry per contestant per month. You can change your entry as much as you want as long as it's before the deadline, but there can be only one!

5) Post your entry as a separate thread on Food and Cooking with the tag [Top Chef Fakku (month)], and post a link to it on this thread. You must post a link to your entry in this thread or we will NOT consider it.

6) The winner will be chosen through a public poll during the first five days of the subsequent month.

Since no one would like Cabbage and cheese with bacon or Ghetto cheese soup and i didn't want to cook something and add cheese to it... only one option.... Grandma's cheesecake... it not a cake it a custard pie... no cheese cake has flour or grains so no cake... off my rant. Funny that im making something i can't eat unless i want to die. To show you how crazy diabetes is i tasted the mixture a hour ago and now im sick and need of meds or just a beer.. it tasted awesome... Die happy grandma said..... forgot the pic of all the stuff is for three 7X9 pans of it since i know my family will hear about me make some and start to hunt me down of a taste.

1c. boiling water'
1 3oz box of lemon jello
1 cup of sugar... sweeter add a cup more...

1 8 oz pack of cream cheese philly or a good brand
1 tsp vanilla flavoring or a bean worth of the insides
1 can pet milk... don't have pet milk then evaporated milk

Dissolve jello in boiling water and cool. Cream sugar and cream cheese. In a large bowl whip pet milk that been in your freezer for a least 5 hours... gonna be fucking cold(fucking= sticking you prick in snow cold in my country of Arkansas) with a mixer on high speeds until milk stands in peaks( peaks are when you remove the mixer and see mountain like peaks or since this is fakku HARD NIPS) Fold in sugar and cream cheese mix into the milk or whip Until it moves easy on the bottom. Sprinkle crumb mixture or just gramham crackers crumbs. Leave in the fridge over night or until it set... or toss it in the freezer for a hour and fridge for three hours.

Crust:

2 to 2 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs {or a store bought cracker pie crust is fine if you do this then your done)
1/4 of a stick of Margarine or butter... butter is better if you use to the taste.
1 tbsp of sugar

mix the crumbs and fat then put in the tray or pan of your choice and press down with your hand to make a firm crumb shell.
Makes 9X13 pan fill.

edit: When beating the milk it will take a while to get it to the peak stage... put the bowl of milk in the freezer when you get close to the peak and it will firm more so it faster to get stiff peaks.

Serve it plain or if you like... chocolate syrup or some powder sugar but if you do the ghost of my dear old granny will cut your nuts and make mountain oyster stew... girls... the same..mmm roe.
