Anti Bug Post

Can anyone explain to me what the anti bug post issue is? It seems like once a topic hits a new page it no longer displays in the forum?

Give me as much information as you know and I will try to fix it.

K so when the servers went down for about a week about 6 months ago, any thread created before then now has a bug post, where the first post of a new page doesn't show up, so usually someone posts anti bug post for the next page. Any thread created after the servers went down don't have that issue. (Only older threads have the bug)

Also, Post your pics thread has a double bug. Needs two posts before any posts show up on the next page.

This issue has existed in the past, but yeah, it affects all threads now I think. The person who has posted will show up in the forum as having made the last post, but the thread will be stuck on the previous page until someone else posts in it.

Here's a tip: The page will not display as a selectable page in the thread, but if you manually enter the page address (new page starts at every multiple of 15 posts) it will.

For example: Post your pics thread says last post by Jacob.
You click on the most recent page and there is no jacob comment.
You can either debug spray, or go to the address and add 15 to the number after {start=} and the page will come up no problem.

It also works finding something 50+ pages back...

Basically: Every page has 15 posts. When a person make a 16th post or 31st post or 46th post, etc, it should start a new page. However in some cases when the person posts, the new page doesn't appear to everyone else until someone makes a 17th, 32nd, or 47th (etc.) post.

The page is "5 of 4", but there's no way for other people to get to the 5th page unless someone makes another post.

No, anyone can get to the page, they just have to manually type in the page address.

Well, technically yeah. You need change the "start=" parameter in the URL.

Happens to things with more than a few pages already, from my experience.
