Rooting

I'm attempting to root my Droid X. I believe it's running FRG22D and things like easyroot and all of those one click rooting tools don't work [plus, easyroot got taken off of the market in the begin of August]. I'm using this site to help me root it. It's certainly not easy. Command prompt is being a bitch and not recognizing obvious file paths. I get to the line:
chmod 0755 rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin
and all goes to hell. it keeps saying there is no such directory when there obviously is, seeing as how it referenced it in the precious command line.
Does anyone here have any experience rooting androids? Specifically the Droid X? And any that will offer me help? Even someone who has a greater knowledge of command prompt than I would be greatly appreciated.
New problem. Passed by that obstacle and encountered another:

The last command I entered is supposed to return me to c:\droid2root and not C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools and after I enter the next required command:
adb devices
it does not turn back any devices. It should return with my Droid X as a lost line of numbers and it just is not there.
Help?
