Err.. This idea just flow pass my nose, and i happen to sniff it.

FAKKU! Calendar '09
There will be about 4 to 12 non H-arts to be done.

So, my fella FAKKU! Artists. I need you all to participate in this one.
Will you participate??

Anyone who wants to join is welcome.

You can draw any anime character of your choosing.

Send the final submission (at highest resolution version you have) to raze@fakku.net.
We are no longer putting the calender on the art, so make sure the work stands by itself compositionally.

Final Deadline: 5th December 2008
An artist is allowed, and encouraged, to send more than one submission.

Reason: Well, she did win last year's MOTEMOTE.


January - Ino Yamanaka from Naruto (f0dd3r)
Reason: We're doing some temples and fireworks in the background for this one.


February - Louise from Zero no Tsukaima (Ramune)
Reason: Pink, tons of it, and her tsundere expression is a perfect representation of Valentine's Day! XD


March - Kyou/Ryou Fujibayashi from Clannad (Mycstea)
Reason: The girls are wearing the spring uniform.


April - Hoshino Ruri from Nadeshiko (Darius)
Reason: Background has cherry blossoms, and April is the month of cherry blossoms.


May - Nia Teppelin from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Mizusawa)
Reason: Lilies of the Valley are flowers of Spring! Plus, the artist was born in May. XD


June - Natsume Rin from Little Busters! (Mycstea)
Reason: Summer background, with school uniform.


July - Milly Ashford from Code Geass (Hideo_Kuze)
Reason: Milly's birthday is July 14th.


August - Kotonoha Katsura and Sekai Saionji from School Days (tkhnoman)
Reason: Swimsuits and a beachball? Hell yeah. Also, in Japan, summer holidays end at the end of August.


September - Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid 2 (holy101)
Reason: Dammit! Miku's birthday is on August 31st, but August was already taken... I really don't know where else to put her though, and thematically I don't want to move the tkhnoman's beach entry.

October - Horo from Spice and Wolf (Zutroy)
Reason: Delicious apple and colors of autumn. October is also the month of harvest if I remember correctly.


November - Okoi from Basilisk (Mundstock)
Reason: Well, it's the final remaining slot...


December - Kudryavka Noumi from Little Busters (Mycstea)
Reason: Kud in her signature white cape against a snowy background. If only real snow was this awesome.

That is a very interesting idea! However my colouring skill is kinda limited. I would really like to do one to show my appreciation to Fakku though.

That's a fine idea tk. Mmm, maybe I'll give it a shot. Only if it turns out ok, my stuff is either hit or miss, heh.

I'll help, as long as at least one of the months has Armstrong and Johnny Bravo posing together on it.

Sounds interesting, I suppose we choose a month draw something related to the season and month (rainy month, sunny, x celebration, etc)

I vote for theme/topic, that way our pics won't overlap seasons.

Yeah, a topic or 'theme' probably needs to be decided first.

(Though I can't promise I'll be able to participate.)

Also, there will be someone who do final editing. That to add the calendar itself to the arts we make. I need someone who handy at this one.

I say a bunch of artists each make a picture they would like in the calendar. Then the community can vote on which ones they want to be in it.

Yeah biketough idea sounds nice.

When is the deadline?

The final most longest and obviously late deadline is December 31st, 2008.

I think, let's take it frome anime.

About the deadline, i'm not sure that i can finish it in just July. I have so many artworks to be done(which come together suddenly). So how about 15th August... :wink: ?

But first, let's take the month we want to do. I'm going to take "Mrs.February"
EDIT: um... I think over it again. I will take January(New Year things).
I just think that we need to take the month for the connection with the season/celebration. Just like what Ape said.
Also, i will list the month at the 1st post.
