Jurassic Park: The Game

A new Jurassic Park game is soon to be released on the PC this April. It's being developed by the same people who brought you the Sam & Max and Back To The Future games. The game takes place shortly after the events of the first movie and will supposedly shed some light on the questions left unanswered in the films, like "What happened to that can of dino-embryos after Nedry died?". Like the two aforementioned games, the Jurassic Park game will be released episodically.

i want this game... i wounder if it will be like old JP games...

Well, it's supposed to be a cinimatic survival horror based game. The gameplay makes me think of Heavy Rain.

It make's me think if "DYNO CRISIS" desu back on the good o'l PSone.

I watched the trailer and as an avid JP fan, I am disappoint on how the T-Rex sounds like Chewbacca... Other than that it may be ok, I think I'll pass.

The vid I posted was the reveal trailer from a while ago. Since then, I think I've seen another trailer where they changed it to the original T-Rex roar from the movies.

I think that Telltale mentioned releasing them on consoles later in the year, similar to what they did to Sam & Max episodes and Back To The Future.

Being an old Jurassic Park fan, i am really looking forward for a solid game in that universe. I do wonder if there will bee co-op and multiple endings. That would be really awesome.

I highly doubt that it would have coop, but the possibility of your characters dying may lead up to multiple endings.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be released for PS3 at least but probably not for 360.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Telltale games has already released a number of episodic games on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Games such as Monkey Island, Wallace and Gromit, and Sam & Max. Back To The Future is currently on the PSN but has yet to make an appearence on XBLA. However, there's still a possibility of it coming over after Telltale finishes up the season. Even then, a franchise as popular as Jurassic Park is simply too big a title to just exclude from XBLA without a good reason. I'm saying this partly because it's what makes the most sense, but mostly because I wanna play this game and my laptop can't run games worth shit.

Telltale Games is also doing episodic releases of The Walking Dead, too.
I don't know if this was said, but this JP title doesn't involve shooting dinosaurs; it's more towards the human element(survival?); like Heavy Rain. Been talking a lot about its gameplay mechanics...
