TCF November Potato Crusted Salmon (First Time Making This)

So yeah I made a potato crusted salmon with a quino salad and a regular salad.
Ingredient List:
Salmon
Kosher Salt
Cumin
Pepper
Champagne Vinegar
Quinoa (1/2 Cup)
Red Onion
Chives
Thyme
Potato (Russet)
Garlic Olive Oil
Canola Oil
Olives (Kalamata)
Capers
So first you wanna get a cup of salted water boiling, then you drop in your quinoa. Turn off the hear and cover with a lid after it has been brought back to boil and remove from heat.
For the salad dressing you wanna put in the bowl some of the vinegar, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and whisk so you have a good emulsification, add salt and herbs (chives and thyme) added a few capers as well. Toss in greens you wish to eat.
For the salmon you wanna season with salt pepper and cummin. Then you wanna add the Kalamata Olives after you have chopped them in a food processor (do not puree) add that mixture onto your salmon and then shingle on your potato slices (1/8 inch thick) and fry the top your potato, transfer then to oven set at 350 degress for about 12 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives and caper, and enjoy.

It's a seed, with a more nutty flavor and is a great sub for rice or couscous.
