wow its good to see that there are some guyz who are still hooked up with 2d games now that 3d games are dominating the world XD

I only have Mana-Khemia, but if the Atelier Iris games are as good as that, then I don't know why I don't own them yet.

Yeah quite a good company, with his 2D sprites games =p, I own, Atelier Iris1,2,3, Ar Tonelico 1 & 2 and Mana Khemia 1 & 2
Is just a shame, that this game have poor history, maybe with the eception or Ar Tonelico, a AI3.
But the graphics are really nice, the voice actors(you can configure japan voices =P) are great, and most of the characters quite lovable and funny xD
If you like this kind of games, maybe you will like Nippon Ichi Games =p like Disgaea, Makai Kingdom.

oh i agree the company does have it down now, maybe some people cant take the alchemy system of the game,it does take represent 14 of the game. anyways wasn't it nippon ichi that co-created the AI3 and MK which means its not the end of the AI series. :D

A Gust fan here. I own AI 1-3, Ar Tonelico, and Mana Khemia. I'm looking forward to Ar Tonelico 2 possibly being released in December.
@ theotaku: The Atelier Iris series is done. Mana Khemia is the continuation of the Atelier series. It's unfortunate that Iris ended with a game that was hardly related to the other two at all.

The AI Series ended with AI3, but the Atelier Proyect, is something that goes on.
About Nippon Ichi, I dont think so, The thing they did was publish the game in North America, as Banpresto publish and sometimes cooperate with the games in Japan.
And yeah is said that are Tonelico 2 will be realased in december T_T, I cant wait.(Persona 4 & Ar Tonelico 2, what a great mouth xD)
FOr alchemy and item-crafting systems, yeah maybe some people dont like that, but is something that is in all GUST games, and I like it pretty much, but sometimes is a little enoying, just sometimes -3-.

add a MK II this december then its a month of joy for us. :D :D
i agree spending 1/4 of the game can just be a little annoying at times but when you get used to it its kinda enjoying

Well maybe for MK2 I can wait same more, since I finished it like a mouth ago,the history was really crappy, but everything else was quite nice, specialy the combat system, and for my point view maybe there well be a MK3 =p
About AI3, mmm I dont know about that and I honestly find it hard to believe, but they well surly realese more Atelier Games, so I will be waiting for this ones =p

Let me reiterate what I said before Mana Khemia IS the next Atelier game.
http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mana-Khemia_Alchemists_of_Al-Revis
If you scroll to the bottom, you can see that Mana Khemia is the 9th Atelier game.

I have Atelier Iris 1-3 and Mana Khemia~ never played Ar Tonelico. But oh man, the music in those games blow me away. Although it's starting to lack from what I've heard in Ar Tonelico 2.

yeah I know that MK is an Atelier Proyect, and MK2 is Proyect11 I think.
But what I am talking about, that there wont be any "secuel" or something like that about Atelier Iris, the "Iris" history was over in AI3, but the Atelier Proyect goes on, so I will be waiting for this game(like MK or the ones that will keep coming).
About Ar Tonelico, I think is becouse the game is not "focus" in alchemy. Even if the game have the crafting system, is not the same, and the word Atelier is the name os the alchemist workshop.
