Artists names

This is my first post on this part of the FAKKU forums, so I hope this is the right place to bring it up.

It has come to my attention that when looking for specific artists here on FAKKU, some or if not, most of their work aren't listed under the same name, due to either the misspelling of the author's name or them being named under a different alias. I'd like to bring up an example of sorts to show you what I mean.

Artist name and works:

And these are more of his work, but under different names, note one of them has an added 'O' to his first name in the first link, while the other link leads to some more works, but under a different name.

If possible, what I like to see is a proper arrangement of a single author's works under just one name, for easier searches for interested people so they wouldn't lose out if they are in search of a favourite artist. I'm not sure if this post is enough to convince the higher ups of this site about this little complication, but I do hope some people who had similar situations finding works by artists because of misinformation of names will bring this to light.

Actually Vergil, my friend, you CAN report these in the Manga Section - Error Reports thread in this section. A lot of users have done it so far, and are continuing to do so. If you have anything that needs to be fixed that ISN'T related to tagging, go to that thread and make a post on it.

But yes, we've had this problem multiple times, and with a lot of different artists too. Unfortunately, the best we can do now is to pick them out manually and report them to that thread. Hopefully, someone will fix it soon.

I kinda guess that I posted in the wrong section, but thanks for pointing it out for me, I do hope this gets resolved soon.

Hmm, for the first two, I'll merge them under the first listing.
As to the works under a different name, I am going to keep them separate for now... but we're hoping to eventually have artist info pages. When that happens, I will try to link the two together somehow.

Not the wrong section. Just the wrong move with creating the thread, but it helped in some way, I guess. Be sure to check out some threads before doing anything on a section that's new to you.
