Wakfu

Well, I just thought I would share a game that I have been waiting for for a long time.

Wakfu is a tactical, turn based MMORPG that is being created by French developer Ankama Games. I thought some people might like the art, and maybe you will appreciate what they have planned for this game.

There's only one thing that I ask, don't mention Fakku on those forums. I have a reputation to uphold. (Not that I'm ashamed of Fakku in any way, but some people might not look too kindly upon it or me.)

I logged in once, but it was pretty empty. I saw one guy idling and PK'ed him...lol. I might try it again.

You were a beta tester? If so, what was your forum name?

I didn't post in the forum. I played once in beta, but I was out of town on vacation, so I didn't play much.


Edit: I wasn't exactly sure what to do ingame. There wasn't a tutorial or quest npc I could find.

Okay, well, the place is pretty empty right now, everyone's waiting for another patch. But it would be great to see you in the forums if you're still interested. (And the beta is still going on if you didn't know.)

That's the beauty, there are no NPC's, the whole game will be player run. If you check out the forums, there are lots of people who would love to help you, and some great topics on it too. (Also there was a tutorial, it just got removed for now. And that's about all I can say without breaking the Non-Disclosure Agreement.)

wait can i get in the beta i signed up a long time ago to be notified but i never was.

Ya, there has been a lot of complaining about that...They never got around to sending out alerts about the beta. It's scheduled to go to open beta in September, but you should always be on the look out for possible beta key giveaways.

Unfortunately, there is no known plan for any more beta keys in the near future. Although that can change at a moments notice. And I'll be sure to update if I hear about more.

Oh nice, it looks like the game is in open beta now. I might have to sign up. :)

I just started on the open beta today and it seems alright. I REALLY like that I can play it on a dial-up internet connection.

Also the game doesn't let you add people to your friends list unless they're online already. Kind of annoying when you're trying to get in contact with someone lol.

Apparently the games going to be a 6 buck a month affair.

Only for a premium account, where've you been by the way? don't mean on Wakfu, haven't been able to catch you on skype for awhile.
