Chrono Tigger DS

I dunno about everyone else, but I exploded with joy when they announced the remake on the DS. Ever since the Resurrection project was cancelled, I've been waiting for something else...

I never finished this one on the Snes, so this is a instant buy.

From what I have been hearing its not really a remake but a port with some new shit. But I'll get it anyway.

I saw 3 of all the endings.. AWESOME!!!

I'm rather hoping they'll include the nifty animated cutscenes from the PSX version since the DS definitely has the power and space to do that.

Well, that -is- only one of the endings lol. After I started a +Game, I could only get the hard ending because I hate losing XD. I've beaten the game some 30+ times now though, but the DS version is still an instant buy, I want the new dungeon, I also hope they add the PSX cut-scenes too, or make new ones ^_^

I'll probably try it out but I can't see myself buying it. I completed it on the SNES and I had fun but I don't think it has much to bring me back for a second go. Hopefully I feel differently about it when I give it a try next time.

I would rather see square putting effort into making new games than redoing old ones again for the 2nd time. This is just getting dumb. Get yourself snes9x and do some googling for the ROM file and your good as Gould.

...I actually just want to play it again and since I'm hardly ever sat down with my tv at home, having a portable version would b nice. They should release a sequel XD and no, I don't mean Chrono Cross, that doesn't count.

Ya Chrono Cross doesn't count... I don't think a sequel is really necessary though unless there was like a more ancient Lavos buried deeper in the earth that stays down longer and becomes more powerful or some shit and starts doing some back to the future stuff where eras are completely screwed up. But I don't think they are creative enough to make that viable.

Hmmm... after getting all the endings in Nes and after replaying in PSX I thought hopefully I won't be playing it again but... oh well... but this new dungeon should satisfy me like having a boss 10X powerful than Lavos or having a 100 or so floors of total carnage!! if not then it's on my game shelf already

This is easy money for Square-Enix. They now CT has a large fanatical group that would buy anything with Crono's face slapped on it.

I was under the impression that Chrono Cross was a good game, is it not?

Cross was a good game but if you compare some of the changes to Trigger. it was a bit disappointing.

I'm also a bit biased. When I played that game for the first time, I was expecting Trigger 2. Truth to say, I was disappointed. Man, I hate my inner fanboy sometimes.

Hopefully the port will have greatness from SNES version, the chances this game will suck are pretty much zero.
