Who here is looking forward to playing as Death?This game is one of the games on my list to get this year,along with diablo 3,mass effect 3 and a few others?what are you hoping to get out of this game?weapon wise?magic wise?

I, for one, am a big fan of the original DarkSiders, the story and gameplay is what pushed me to go for the platinum last year and it was a satisfying run. This will be one of my must get titles for this year and I'm curious what goodies Death has to offer in terms of character and combat, though I'll miss War, he was too awesome.

Oh, yeah, the Chaos ability and Armageddon Blade piece hunting were all good, it surely added to War's already epic arsenal, but did I have a hell of a time once I got the all the pieces for the Abyssal Armor, it made APOCALYPTIC difficulty a breeze. I hope Death gets an Armor too as well in the sequel.

Yeah can only hope :D I mean The armageddon blade and abysmal armour were completely Godlike,the abilities were also quite awesome,death looked pretty awesome to play as.

Never found a liking for Darksiders 1, well WAR at least. The story I liked a lot, but just WAR himself, he was just, over-powered looking. But Death looks like a character I could get into. Now, instead of blocking then slashing, you have to dodge, I like games that let you do that. So, I am getting this game 100%.

Not sure any of you heard, but a prologue novel to the first game is planned to come out along with the release of DarkSiders 2 starring both War and his fellow Horsemen named Darksiders: The Abomination Vault by Ari Marmell. Should be good.
