Amazing Foods Image Thread

This forum is now my home here at Fakku, and as such, I think it needs a great big thread that encompasses the best of what this forum has to offer.

So basically, use this thread to post images of some of your favorite foods you have seen here on Fakku, pictures of your own foods, and basically any awesome food related images.

Think of it as a Master Culinary Image thread for Food and Cooking!

Rules for Amazing Food Images:

2. Add where you got the images, and if you can, the name of what is being shown. The more you know about food, the better the experience ^_^

3. Follow Forum rules, this is no place for trolling (I especially need to remember that one lol)

4. Don't clutter the thread with quotes, if need be, start a topic regarding a particular picture or food. At the very least PM, only pictures here please.[/h]

That's a good idea!
I will start by posting a pic of my favorite cookie.


Shortbread! Scottish shortbread, specifically. I love making it in pie trays and eating it in wedges. It is one of my favorite desserts, especially since it can include many flavors(such as orange) and be eaten with about anything. Strawberries and cream, for example.
All you really need is flour, sugar and butter. Lots of butter is preferred.

This is probably hands down one of my favorite dishes of all time.

Best enjoyed with a small dish of soy sauce, a pat of wasabi, and shiso leaves ^_^

Shit's called "rendang" a traditional food from Sumatra, Indonesia. Made of beef, lotsa beef, and lotsa spices. For those spice lovers, try this shit.

Ah! I never knew what they were called until now. x3 Thanks for telling me. :D I just always found them being served in tea rooms, so I just started calling them tea cakes. xD
