Chapter One[/h]
The wind kicks up a little as you huddle closer to the camp fire you've had going since sunrise. Even though it was spring, being as far north as you were you made sure you'd brought the necessary equipment so you didn't freeze to death. Tonight would mark the second week you've been out camping in the forest. You say camping, but given the circumstances, the term living would be more appropriate.
Two weeks ago, you made the mistake of coming home a little early after your boss gave you some extra time off to spend with your wife. "Work hard, play hard!" Is what he said. Of course, while you had been of working hard, you wife had been playing just as hard. You came home that day to find her face completely buried in a strangers crotch, moaning and fingering herself like she'd been born to do it. You stood motionless out of heart broken shock. Perhaps lucky for the both of you, the scum whos cock she'd been gagging on quickly excused himself while you were still frozen in place.
After wiping off the copious amount of semen she had all over her face, she began a tearful story of how none of this was her fault and that all she wanted was to go back to the way things were before all this started. You were almost moved to forgive her too, but when the next day your friend disclosed that she'd been cheating on you for 7 months; before you'd even proposed to her; You knew it was over at that very moment. "I didn't want to ruin your relationship with her especially after you proposed to her..I'm sorry dude."
You placed no blame on him of course, it wasn't his fault that your (ex)wife was a cantankerous whore who'd been living off you like a parasite for so long. To be honest, you probably should have caught it sooner, she'd been acting increasingly distant the past few months. Unfortunately, divorce is not an instantaneous thing these days, and circumstances prevented you from forcefully removing her from the house. Instead of risking going berserk and smashing her face into the dirt where it belonged, you packed up a good deal of camping equipment, took the car, and left. Initially you had just planned to be gone and cool down for a few days, but then SHE had decided that if she was getting divorced, she was going to try and milk you for all you were worth. So a few days turned into a week, and eventually you just parked the car in storage, took all your things, and walked into the forest.
So now here you were, skinning a rabbit from a catch earlier today and watching the fire dance around with the wind. The first time you skinned an animal turned out to be far more difficult than you imagined, and you lost a fair bit of meat in the process. You were getting pretty good now, and could manage to get all the skin off without losing much meat in the process. Tonight is going to end well you think to yourself. You hadn't managed to catch much else other than squirrels for the past two days, so a fat rabbit like this was going to be a feast. Finally completing the task before you, you tie up the rabbit by it's feet to a stake, and then hang it over the fire to let cook. It would probably take an hour for it to cook completely through, and you were tired from the long day. Now was as good a time as any to catch a nap. Trying very, very hard to not think about how your (ex)wife was likely scheming to get all she could out of the divorce, you lean up against the tree you'd camped out next to. You set your watch for one hour and shut your eyes.
Your alarm is not the one to wake you up, however. Some sort of sound stirred you from your rest, and it seemed to be very close by. In hindsight you decide that catching a nap while your food was out in the open was a bad idea, it was likely a bear come to check out the delicious smell of slow roasted rabbit. Attempting to hide the fact you're awake, you slowly peak through one eye to get a grasp of the situation. Initially, you seem to be correct in your assumption. With your eyes heavily squinted, you can make out a large dark blurry shape right next to your camp fire. Your thoughts race to grab your pistol which i...Ahhh shit, it's in the box. You close your eyes shut again, trying to keep your breathing steady. This time, foresight is your friend. You decide that it's a good idea you don't have your pistol; a small caliber bullet like yours would probably only serve to piss the animal off. You quickly write off rabbit dinner, and just hope that the bear will eat it and leave. You've got a bit of squirrel tucked away for an emergency so you don't starve. Your best bet is to just stay 'asleep' unti-
*BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP* BEEP BEEP*
What was that phrase about best laid plans?
You almost jerk your arm to shut your watch up , but wits overtake instinct and you continue to play dead. You can hear the bear slowly moving toward you now, it's interest apparently peaked by the odd noise coming from the tree. Seconds seem like minutes as the bear inches ever closer to you. Just take the rabbit and go, there's nothing interesting about me. Just take the rabbit. Take the rabbit. Take the rabbit. Take the rabbit. Take the rabbit. Ohhhh shit. Eventually you can feel it's hot breath on your face, perhaps only seconds away from eating you whole.
"Hey."
Hey? Hearing the English language is likely the last thing you expected to hear at the end of your life. Perhaps you're already dead?
"Hey wake up!"
A small slap on the cheek jerks you back to reality, and your eyes shoot open. "Ah that's better, must be mighty tired to sleep through that infernal noise." You sit on the ground in a state of bewilderment...was the bear talking to you? "Bear? You thought I was a bear!? Hahahahaaa, your imagination is pretty crazy for you to be thinking I'm a bear" With your senses finally coming back to you, you utter out an apology. "Ahh, I'm sorry. Did I say that aloud?" You turn to get a real look at your new guest. She nods at you. "You really did. But no worries, I won't eat you either!" She giggles at her own little joke and slithers back towards the fire. Ah yes that's right isn't it, you say to yourself. A good look shows that she did indeed slither. Your mysterious visitor is actually a Lamia.
"I smelled something nice, and just followed my nose. Didn't think I'd find a human this far out into the forest." Having dusted yourself off of the ground, you too walk back to the warmth of the fire and set about taking down dinner. "Same here, I didn't think that there were any monstergirls this far north. While you take down the rabbit, the Lamia curls herself up and rests her head on her particularly long tail. "Well, it's a particularly long tale that doesn't really bare repeating." Her attitude seems very dismissive about the subject, and you don't press the matter. "Likewise. Everyone has a story not to tell." She nods an acknowledgement as you complete your preparations and take a seat near her. "Well would you like to share in some of my dinner as we don't talk about ourselves?" This joke manages to get a chuckle out of her, and so she raises herself up to sit properly. "Sounds like a deal."
The two of you make short work of the rabbit in silence, both of you mulling over personal thoughts. Personally, your feelings are mixed in the new change in the state of affairs; while true that one should find solace in a new guest to split the isolation that comes with camping alone, you had grown accustomed to the silence and busy work required to make a habit of living here. Despite your preparedness for being able to stake out a camp and handle the elements, you had failed to bring any food. You'd likely already lost five or six pounds since coming here as hunting to survive is a workout in and of itself. As both of you finish at roughly the same time, you take both halves of the carcass and head off to dispose of them. "I'll be back in about 10 minutes, I need to get rid of the remains while there is still sunlight left." Another nod in return. Guess she's not much for words huh? Well that sat just fine with you, no need to talk when there's nothing to be said. That was something your (ex)wife did not care to think about. She was always going on about this and that and- Nope, not gonna think about her. I didn't come out to the middle of nowhere to have her follow me out here. You finally reach the cliff, where you've thrown all the bones and inedible parts of the animals you've eaten. It helps to keep a clean living space.
The trip back to camp was just as uneventful as the trip to the cliff, but you find that the Lamia has started searching through your equipment. "I'm sorry miss, but we never did exchange names. Who are you?" She pauses her rummage to exam your compass, and then continues. "Ah, well that's kind of difficult. Humans can't pronounce our real names, but don't feel bad. None of the other monsters can either." That makes sense to you. You suppose that with them being half snake, there's probably some fancy pronunciations in there that you just couldn't manage with a normal mouth. "Well then, what should I call you? I'm Scott." She nods in acknowledgement, pausing this time to admire the pistol you'd carried with you. You wait for an answer, but receive none. So you sit down patiently, warming yourself from the frigid spring chill.
After a few minutes more, she finishes her inventory of your belongings and joins you by the fire. "Well Scott, it doesn't seem like you're out here for the long haul despite your rugged look. You can call me Alia for short." You are slightly impressed at her assessment of your things. She was right of course, you did not intend to stay but another week at most. "Well Alia, you are spot on with your comment. Though the same could be said for you I imagine, with naught but the scales on your back. Unless you're hiding a tent in that ample bosom of yo-ow!" You slap your hand up to the back of your head, where she had given you a solid thump with the end of her tail. "Scott, you too are 'spot on'. I'm not out here for any particular reason other than to just be here. Unlike you though, I require a bit more space. Home for now is a cozy cave a few miles from here."
A few miles...that would mean that given the rapidly declining temperature, it wouldn't be smart to try and make it back, especially now that the sun was almost set. That left only one real option. "Guess you'll be staying the night then Alia." It was the Alia's turn to be impressed. "Certainly a generous offer from a total stranger. Looks like I caught myself a nice one this time." She again giggles at her own joke, and sizes up your tent. "That's a very nice tent you've got for just one occupant." While the two of you had been talking, you completed packing up camp for the night and left the rabbit skin nailed to a tree to air out. You hesitated for a moment, but she caught on before you had to answer. "Ah...well it's good to have nice things for yourself these days isn't it?" At least some women in this world still have some manners, even if it has to be a monstergirl.
The two of you crawled-well you crawled, she slithered-into the tent together. Now came the difficult task of trying to get comfortable. Normally there was plenty of room for you and your (ex)wife. Alia was not your (ex)wife though, and her tail was nearly 20 feet long. This made for a rather awkward position for the both of you. While she did her best to not get in your way by laying her tail along the edges of the tent, you tried to avoid making her uncomfortable by curling up loosely into the fetal position. You both laid this way for about a minute before you both laugh at the ridiculous positions you were in. You speak first. "This doesn't make for a really good sleeping position does it?" She curls herself up into a sitting position and takes a quick glance around the tent. "No, heh, it really doesn't do much at all to sleep like this." "Well do you have any ideas? I don't imagine sleeping in a ball like that is very comfortable either" Alia nods, and ponders for a minute more.
"Well, I've got a solution.." You interest perks up. "Oh? It sounds like there's a 'but' in there somewhere" Alia grins sheepishly and begins to un-curl herself. "Yeah, there's a 'but' in there." "Not gonna eat me are you?" She chuckles at you softly. "Well that thought had occurred to me, but since you're such a nice guy I decided against." "Well what then? You can't go back to your camp, it's gonna be 10 below in a few minutes, and I can't just let a lady brave the cold all by her lonesome." She hesitates for a minute more, as if she's embarrassed to even be thinking about her suggestion. "Just say it Alia, it really can't be that bad if it solves the problem of how small this tent is for you." She looks at you, her face slightly red. "Well, d-do you trust me?"
Another question that sort of catches you off guard. It's not exactly a level of trust as it is you only met her a short while ago. And since Lamia's don't actually eat humans, you suppose that there can't really be any harm in her idea. "Yeah, I suppose I do. As much as one can trust a good looking lady he met only a little bit earlier." She's almost red as a beet now, but she finally spits it out." Well, o-ok then. Just don't freak out ok? Ok??" You almost laugh at how shy she's being, an almost total reversal from the woman who just waltzed right into someone else's camp because she smelled dinner. "Ok ok, I promise I won't freak out." Alia nods, and what she does next completely takes you by surprise. She nervously starts to approach you, and she begins to push her lower body; where the stomach meets the tail; onto your chest. More intrigued than frightened, she begins wrapping herself around you. Shoulder first, and then slowly, the rest of you. Finally coming to a stop as her tail covers the majority of your body. "I uh...I tried leaving your arms and a leg free, ssss-sssince I know that humans kind of like to ssssstretch out when they sleep but uh.."
You've been taken off guard by Alia once again, she seems to be full of surprises. You gently wiggle about inside her coils, getting a feel for the sensation of being mostly trapped. She was wrapped pretty tight around you, not enough to feel constricted, but tight enough to feel as if you were being moderately hugged. It...feels kind of nice really you admit to yourself. SHE had never really wanted to cuddle when the two of you slept, so the sensation here was actually relaxing. Still, the idea that you were practically cuddling with a woman you had just met (and a beautiful one at that) was not lost on you. Given the circumstance, you and she were also very close together. You couldn't have been more than a foot away from her face. She could probably feel how fast your heart was beating through her coils. Damn it man calm down, you're gonna put her off. You take slower, deep breaths in an attempt to relax yourself before you embarass the both of you. She seems to take it a different way though.
"Ahh! I'm ss-ssssorry, you're getting ssscared I know it! I'll uncoil you right now-" You quickly grab one of her coils as she begins to unravel you. "Hey wait I'm fine! Wait a second!" She pauses immediately. As you look at her, you feel like you're looking at a child who accidentally broke something, and was really sorry about it. "Y-you're not sss-scared?" You shake your head furiously. "No no not at all! I just...well." You try thinking of some way to say this without making you seem like a pervert. "It's just..not something I'm used to and uhhh. Well it feels fine so, don't worry about it." Her face switches instantly from sad and sorry to a kid on Christmas morning. "Really? You mean it??" "Yeah, I can still move just fine, so no problems. See?" You shake your free shoulder and move your arms and leg about a little, kind of like a dumb dance move. She smiles widely at her success. "I'm glad!" Her good mood seems pretty contagious, and you can't help but feel a little bit of the relief and joy she does at not having scared off a new friend. "Well, we should probably catch some sleep then. The sun comes up pretty early these days." She nods in agreement. "Well umm..good night Ssscott" You reach out and switch the tent lamp off. "Good night Alia."

I finally decided to sit on my lazy ass and write another Monstergirl story. I'm thinking that this will be the first of three chapters, but that depends on how much I can think up to finish the story. No promises on when the next one will come out, but I'm hoping for sometime in the next week.
As usual. Blah blah blah constructive criticism, blah blah blah enjoy!

Nothing much I can say besides the usual Spelling errors. I seem to see a lot of people mistaking "Your" and "You're". "Your" is used for when you're referring to the other person's item. I.E. Your pencil, Your dick, your boobs ;p
"You're" is a short form for "You are" I hope others will do the same from now...
Btw, glad to see another Monstergirl from you. I really enjoyed the Scylla one and was waiting for another one from you. Thanks for the Lamia. It's my favourite Monstergirl after Foxgirl after all. Oh, and I hope she'll swallow the F*cking (ex)wife whole later. ;D

I only found one instance where I misused "you're" and I learned that 'unedible' is not a word. Otherwise I didn't see anything else?

I personally like monstergirls so this story caught my interest. I'm a bit tired right now so I can't give a through criticism. There were some parts where it wasn't clear which sentences were dialogue and which weren't.
So far so good. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

I love this. Any list of your monstergirl fanfic?I've only written two others. I had started on a third a long time ago but I quickly realized that it wasn't what I wanted to write and eventually just dropped it. I'm making progress on this Lamia story slowly but surely. I hope that I find the motivation to get this second chapter out by tomorrow.
The other two I wrote.
Scylla

After such a long time, I finally got back to writing my Lamia story. I considered at first just dropping it like I did my last failed monstergirl story, but this time I let patience run it's course and let it sit until I could find the motivation to write another chapter. I hope you all enjoy this next part.
Comments appreciated!
For the first time since leaving the house, you wake up far after the sun does. You'd been having some real trouble sleeping since reality picked a bone with you, and felt more rested than you've felt in a long time. You try stretching your arms out, but can't seem to move them very much. Over the course of the night, Alia had coiled you up almost completely and your head was pretty much buried into her chest. Guess I know why I slept so well. Trying your best not to disturb her, you slowly wiggle an arm free. With the extra room the second arm is a piece of cake and you quietly stretch the minor ache out of your joints. Alia is still snoring softly, so it looks like you did just fine. Your usual routine involves going out right after you wake up to rinse off in the creek nearby and gather up water. But being wrapped up so warmly by such a gorgeous snake made getting out of bed a hard thing to sell. So instead you simply lay there and check out the ceiling, enjoying the situation as much as any normal guy should.
Shortly thereafter Alia begins stirring from her own rest, uncoiling you in the process. You give a sigh of relief and sit up, stretching every other muscle that had been tied up with Alia. Yawning perhaps a little bit louder than she needed to, Alia sits up with you and leans back on her arms. "Well hey there stranger." You toss a bit of dried out squirrel meat towards her. "Care for some breakfast?" She happily accepts the offer and wipes the sleep out of her eyes before munching on the meal. "Hmm, breakfast in bed. You're a real charmer Scott." You shrug it off as if it was something you did all the time. "A man should pull out the stumps every now and then shouldn't he?" She chuckles her appreciation, and finishes up her breakfast. "You're too kind sir, too kind." You grab a good piece of squirrel for yourself and being a bit of munching of your own.
"So what's today's plan?" Pausing to swallow your food, you think it over for a second. "Not really sure, haven't had guests like this before." "Well surely you've got some kind of routine in the mornings." You bite down on another piece of squirrel and nod. "Yeah, but given how cold it is right now I don't think a bath is a good idea." Alia shivers at the mention of the weather. "I don't think anything is a good idea with how cold it is." You chuckle at her as you put on your pants over your long-johns, and grab your parka instead of the normal jacket. "Ah don't be like that, c'mon and put this on over your sweater." You toss her the jacket. By itself it wouldn't help much, but with the sweater beneath it the jacket would work great as a windbreaker. "Ah yeah, put this on too. Don't want to freeze your face off." You take one more second to toss her a wool balaclava before donning your own and stepping outside.
With your parka on and your face pretty much covered, the biting cold is much more bearable than it was earlier. Alia follows right behind you, and when you finally get a good look at her, you have to stifle a laugh. It's not that she put it on wrong, but something about seeing a Lamia in full winter gear was really comical. She easily notices your muffled laugh even with the balaclava on, and pushes you with the tip of her tail. "Don't you laugh at me, we Lamias are meant for warmer climates." You shrug as if to say to not worry about it, and grab your rifle from a different bag. "What are you planning to do with that?" "Well what do you think? Dinner isn't gonna catch itself you know." She almost seems in awe of it. "Well how have you bee catching your food?" She laughs awkwardly. "Haha...well I kinda just rush whatever I want to eat and crush them between my coils." "Too bad for me, but humans don't exactly have those. So, we have to compensate now and then. Now not to be rude, but since I'm not very good at it, tracking takes every ounce of my concentr-" Alia breaks out in laughter, paying no mind to whatever you were about to say. "Tracking? Why bother following foot prints when I can easily smell a deer only a few hundred yards from here!" "Really? There's one that close?" Alia pulls the balaclava down below her nose and tenderly sniffs the air, pinpointing dinner far easier than you could hope to do. "Three..no! Four of them in that direction." Nodding towards the direction of the creek where you usually went to bathe, she began to make her way towards the deer with you following close behind..
"...You've never actually killed a thing in your life have you." Alia, with her head buried in-between her coils in embarrassment, shook her head no. You had followed her towards the group of deer, and sure enough there they were. Alia had insisted she show you her prowess in how a Lamia could catch anything short of a cheetah. She certainly closed the distance between her and the deer she went after in a flash, but when she actually came upon her target she missed completely and scared the group off. There would be no point in attempting to chase them because they would surely stay on the move for an hour. And a deer can outpace a human seven days out of the week. "Well it doesn't really matter either way. We've still got enough food for tonight but I'll have to pack up camp tomorrow morning and head back." That seemed to get her attention, and she sat right up. "Ehh? You're leaving!?" That seemed an odd tone of voice for someone who'd just met you yesterday. "Well of course." You reply matter of factly. "I'll have no food left after tomorrow morning, and I can't exactly hunt well on a half empty stomach." She raises her head to protest, but you can tell what she's going to say before she can get the words out. "You don't have any food at your camp either, otherwise you wouldn't have come out this far. Don't think I didn't hear your stomach growling before dinner last night." Alia slouches back into her coil and admits her defeat. Seeing her down in her spirits brings out a little bit of the chivalry in you, so you sit down across from her and try to cheer her up. "No need to be so down you know, it's not like your best friend is moving away and you'll never see him again, we only met yesterday!" Contrary to your intent, it did not appear to cheer her up at all. Well I'm not exactly a motivational speaker anyway. It did at least get her out of her coils. "Scott, you've been very hospitable to me this whole time.." You nod in agreement, but you try to brush it off as what any man would do for a cute woman. She ignores your attempt to play it down, however. "No, it's not just common courtesy. You've gone out of your way to feed me and let me stay the night...do you want to know why I'm out here? Why I'm so much farther north than any normal Lamia would?" "Well, I won't deny my interest, but I didn't think that it was something that really needed to be asked so soon." She smiled, but it seemed so forced that it made you feel more than a little sad. "Well then why are you out here, Alia?" She had to pause for a moment, trying to gather up the guts to say what she needed to.
"A few months ago, I met a guy at work. I'd just been promoted to shift manager and he was a bit of a trouble maker. So I took him aside and set him straight; 'Do you work the correct way, or I'll see to it you don't work here anymore.' After that, I never had any problems with him. He actually became one of the best workers, always the last one to lock up and make sure everything was clean for the next day. I was impressed with the change, and was a little proud of him, so of course I let him know that he'd been doing a good job. And then he suddenly asked me out; he said that since he'd seen me working so hard it was an inspiration after the scolding I gave him, and that he wanted to get to know me better. Initially I was hesitant because we worked together, but he was so insistent and polite that I saw no harm in getting to know him. We went on our first date a few days later, and it looked like he was a much nicer guy than I initially thought." Alia started squirming uncomfortable as she continued her story. "So of course, our relationship progressed to that level. As...as we were getting ready, I was caught off guard when three of hisssss friends came through the door and...and th-" You already knew where this was going, so you try to cut her off. "It's alright Alia, you don't ha-" She interrupted you before you could continue. "N-no it'ssss not like you think, jusst let me finish." She took a deep breath and continued. "They injected me with something, and before I knew it I couldn't move at all. They tied me up and did all...all sssortsss of different things with me..my body. And I couldn't do anything to ssstop them...they just kept on going and-" Alia was practically sobbing now, shoulders heaving as she tried to suppress them as best she could. You felt useless right now, sitting there dumbstruck while she admitted to being raped by a guy she had trusted. She managed to continue. "The whole time, I couldn't talk until one of them ungagged my mouth. I didn't cry out for help, didn't beg to be let go. All I as-asssked was 'Why?' All I wondered was what I had done to dess-dessserve it. And y-you know what he sssaid? He told me that he had never admired me, and that th-the whole time he'd been working hard was-was to get me off my guard so he could pay me back for threatening him. That's w-when he shoved it in my mouth and told me that thi-thingsss like that were all a ssss-snake woman was good f-for. It was so horrible..and-" You try to cut her off again so she wouldn't have to relive it all again, but she refused. "N-no I'm no-not done. A short while later they started taking pictures, and threatened me with blackmail if I told anyone what they had done to me. B-but somehow I couldn't hear anything other than my heart pounding in my ears.. They sssstarted to untie me, and began dressing up to leave. I thought I would be relieved that they had untied me, but I couldn't think either. All I could feel was this sssething rage inside me, and I could feel the effects of the drug fading off. Before I knew what was happening I had grabbed one of his friends by the throat...sss-ssssqueezing as hard as I could until I felt a pop in his neck. I couldn't ssstop myself; I felt as though I was watching someone else going berserk. One of the other friends made a run for the door, but I was there before he'd even taken a step. I wrapped my tail around his foot and flung him across the room, his head impacted the wall with a crunch. I remember being feeling horrified a-and yet happy at the ss-sssame time when I heard it. His last friend had grabbed a knife from the table, and stabbed me in the tail. I ssss-snapped his neck an instant later. B-by this point my coworker was cowering in a corner, crying and begging for forgiveness. At the time I couldn't hear him, but when I think back, I can hear him..the utter terror in his voice was ssss-so apparent. He would have done anything to live. B-but I couldn't stop, no matter how much I wanted to, inside was a burning anger that would not be extinguished. I remember, I sss-sssemed to ssstare at him for what felt like an eternity, and then f-felt myself smile. He sss-screamed as I quickly wrapped him up in my c-coilss. I could feel his heart beating sssso fast, it felt as if it was trying to burst out of his chest to ssspare him. But I-I wouldn't allow it. I crushed his chest ssss-slowly, each time he breathed out I ssssqueezed even harder until his cries got quieter an-and quieter. Finally I ss-sstarted to feel his ribs sss-shatter, and th-thats when he finally sssstoped breathing." Alia couldn't hold it back anymore, and was sobbing so hard you felt as if the forest itself was shuddering with her. "Wh-what could I do!??! I was sss-sso crushed and sss-scared th-that I c-couldn't ssstop myself. When I sss-ssnaped out of it I was horrified at wh-what I'd done. I knew th-that I would get arrested for sure s-ssso I left. I t-took what I could and jusst headed where no one would think to find a Lamia. Wh-what could I do!?!" You could say nothing, how could you? What frame of referance could you have that would let you say something to calm her down. So you did the only thing you thought you could. As softly as you could you slid over to her side and embraced her, tears welling in your own eyes as she tried so meekly to push you off. But you wouldn't have it. God himself would not tear your arms away from her. She stopped trying to push you away, burying her face in your chest as the tears fell freely from the both of you.

Chapter Two[/h]
The poor girl! Also, is there an established Monstergirl universe we're in?Not particularly no, though this story takes place in the same universe as my other stories.

I read this earlier, and I honestly have nothing to really criticize for grammar or conventions except the dialogue, I believe, are supposed to be separated into paragraphs, but the last paragraph could have be separated into two or three paragraphs. Anyways, I love the story so far, and it progresses smoothly, not too fast or slow. The characters are also likable enough for me to keep on reading. "Such tragic events can create an strong bond between two unlikely people" seems to be a theme behind the story. I hope there's more to this because I really like this; just take your time and let it come to you.
