I've been playing World of Tanks and its instilled in me a love of tanks and a desire to play more tank related videogames and partake in other forms of media which focus on tanks.
This thread is to list what you think are fun tank based videogames.

The Battletanx series for the n64 hands down. Wasted lots of my childhood on that game. With a honourable mention the Battlezone rise of the black dogs

Forgotten Hope 2 might be up on your alley. Mod for Battlefield 2. Plenty of tanks over there at least.
Hmh... Now that you think about it, there aren't that many games that are almost solely focused on tank warfare these days.

shoot i can't remember the exact name, but it is for teh ps1. pazer assualt or something another. I have it in my room somewhere, need to find it. pretty awesome tank game.

It can be frustraiting when you are first learning how to play. As when you are killed in battle you are knocked out for the rest of the match and have to wait for it to be over in order to use that tank in another one. And this being essentially a slow placed shooter where knowing the maps and what tactics to use are important you will die a lot while learning. But the better you get the more fun it is. There's something particularly satisfying about seeing the other guy's tank go boom!

No I found it. It was called mobile Armor.
