I got this game, but compared to Disgaea it was pretty outdated, the characters were lively though. I'm thinkin about selling it on Amazon. Not really much of a collector and I need the cash.

i would've played more of this if the tutorial didn't bore me too death/put me too sleep, i'll give it another try once i finish some other games...don't get me wrong i definitely wanna play more of this game thou

I've started playing again where I left off since I felt like playing today. I'm on the chapter 10 where you traverse acouple of maps and can't kill anyone if you want the good ending. And the last map of that chapter is a son of a bitch. I still fail since the retarded soldiers always block my path to finishing the chapter. >_>

Then maneuver as quickly as you can once you the path up is open to get as many units up as possible, keep them together until you get them all up so none of them get cut off from behind, that way you have more decoys for the top part.
Shoes of course, help. I did this a couple months ago, you're probably better off looking for a video of it, there's bound to be one out there.

I've tried that, that's exactly how the Walkthrough says, they just kill off my peeps and the path is still blocked. >_>

I think I remember why that part was so easy for me, it was because I beat up that high level tree monster or whatever in the caves and got the best boots in the game (next to the warping shoes) from it.
