The Guided Fate Paradox

It seems the Disgaea team is working on numerous different games. One of them being "Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei Paradox". This translates literally to "God and Fate Revolution Paradox". There's not too much on this game yet but it's reported that it will be on one of the Playstation consoles. According to Siliconera, it may be an RPG with strategy elements to it.

Noizi Ito, artist for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana, is doing the art for this game. A pre-site should be up soon and the official site will be up on the 19th.

Also Yousei Teikoku is the one singing in this trailer. She did opening and ending songs for Mirai Nikki.

Hm. I like how all those people are on board and such, and it looks great, but I'm kinda confused by what the premise might by, given the trailer. The animation and art style is almost seems light hearted, but I'm curious as to why they seem to give it more of a dark tone. Will it be like Disgaea, or much darker? Lighter?

Who was that silver haired girl?

Your level resets to one after you leave a dungeon in this game. However, there's also a statistic for your total level.

Here are some of the latest screenshots below. As you can see, it's very Disgaea-like, which is a good thing in my opinion. It's also supposed to be similar to Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman. I've never played Z.H.P. though.

Here's a new video that contains some game-play and the character's voices. It's still looking really good in my opinion. Also, the release date has been pushed back to January 24th in Japan.

Need more details of features for complete buy but I'm interested so far I enjoyed Z.H.P. Will keep my eye on this

NISA is localizing this game and releasing it sometime in the fall.

Yeah gameplay wise, it looks like ZHP. Now the question is, why bother releasing it for the ps3 when this kind of game perfectly fits the psp.

Technically speaking, I don't think the PSP could handle this game. The PSV would be another story though.

Nope, it's not a continuation. It's made by NIS though so it's similar to Disgaea and Z.H.P.
