What popular games have you missed out on?

Is there any popular video game series you haven't played yet? Whether you didn't have the money at the time or you just overlooked it, what games have you missed out on?

For me, I have a couple of series that I haven't played but I've been wanting to. I never got to the....



It's not that I'm not interested, I just somehow never got to any of these games. However, I plan to fix that with all the new HD collections coming out.

So, bottom line: For one reason or another, what popular games have you missed out on? These can be single games or entire series.

Gears of war....I want to play it so much, but one things stands in the way *stares at ps3* your lucky I love disgeae ps3...

- Black ops
- Minecraft (Only got a taste of the trial)
I'm definitely going to get Minecraft and Black Ops 2.

The list is way too long for me to complete, but anyway,

- Zone of the Enders 1-2
- God of War 2
- Most PS2 CoD games (Not that I feel like playing them either)
- Vanquish (never really understood the game's appeal until recently)
- God Hand (same as the above)

When I was in Senior High I thought that the PS2's reign would end soon enough which led me to overlook a lot of the previous generation's gaming gems. When I finally got a PS3 two years ago I thought I'd never look back on the PS2 again, but I was wrong.

I have a list of certain games I can remember at the moment:

Bayonetta (I can play this now that its affordable, due to the long wait since its release years ago.)
Dead Space series (Probably because it was overly frightening as I heard from some people.)
Persona games, especially 3 and 4 (Yeah, probably because I didn't had time for these two and was more occupied with other unknown rpgs like the Shadow Hearts trilogy.)
.hack series
Metal Gear Solid 4 (Probably the only MGS game I haven't played yet, even though I pretty much all the others, except completing Peace Walker.)

- The Metal Gears series
- Skyrim
- Dead Space
- Call of Duty MW3
- Persona series
- Final Fantasy series (Any of the games)

I Should really consider playing these games...never got around to it.

Less time playing on console games since entered college, and my PS2 broke years ago. fuck

Final Fantasy 12-nobody ever really talks about this one i dont know if it counts so it fell under the radar soon as its up on psn ill get around to playing it.

Assassins Creed series-im planning on getting into this really soon

metal gear solid series- I beat part 1 and saw my cousin beat the original metal gear for the NES i need to cop that HD collection and continue.

There is some more. But i'm not interested in playing any of them.

I see a lot of people still need to play Disgaea. Everybody should, it's awesome. Also BlazBlue is another one I've been wanting to try. After playing P4A, I now have a greater interest in 2D fighters. Actually I just ordered the latest one now.

I've missed out a bit. But that trend will continue harshly this coming year.

-Resident Evil 1&2(Never finished.)
-ALL OF THE "Atelier : The Adventurer of Arland" series. I had NO idea this was released in the US.

So many games to look forward to this year as well.
Bioshock Infinite, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Persona 4 Arena, Dead Space 3, the list goes on...

Bioshock sadly isnt coming out till next year.

Almost all famous games that I liked. (AKA Assasin's creed series, metal gear series, etc)

Since I entered college, my rhythm for playing has decreased, and my laptop sucks that playing Limbo now makes it crash. I can still play Dreamcast games on it, though.

The Uncharted Series.. never had the money to buy them :3

There are so many I want to play
