Never heard of it until now...

Since i've seen people all over diffrent forums going "Yay!" and all that shit i assume it's a good game, although it looks like shit if you ask me.

Graphics doesn't make a game good though, i know.

@ KLoWn: As long as you don't mind Metroidvania-style games and the retro look, I'm almost certain that you'll enjoy it. I'd recommend Cave Story to pretty much any gamer, especially if they've been around since the NES/SNES era.

It's also pretty darn funny too

this is awesome, i saw the review in a gaming mag, i had played this so long ago but had forgotten the name, i absolutely love this game, i was one of the ppl who played the original metroid for the nes, aww the memories, i might still have it somewhere now that i think about it...

now i can play it again, but i still cant stand the final fight (was only able to get passed the second final boss once to wind up hung by my underwear on a flag pole beaten into the ground (tried for days, this time i wont lose) >_>)

Ruined the graphics, Curly mode ruins the story from what I've heard, and are they charging for this? The thought of paying for Cave Story pains me.

dunno about graphics and Curly(forget that's the female robot right? , replaying (free one) now) mode but it doesn't seem that they intend to drag down the free one for this.

so its all fine to me, those who'd get ripped off wouldn't have had found the free one anyway if they haven't by now. also im interested, ima buy it, if and/or when its 20 or so dollars. hope it's not only wii remote compatible...
