Book of Shadows is coming state-side. I can't wait for it's release.

I feel like I read a redundant post of this somewhere. Or was that Dead Patient?

To be honest I'm really happy they're making/made this. I was really heartbroken when I saw Monshig in the state he was in Corpse Party. Mayu and Monshig had a really beautiful relationship, and to see him crumble as he did in CP was truly heartbreaking. Below is a game OVA that has events that happen the day before CP takes place. It shows the everyday life of the characters, and at a little before 5:50 there's a really cute conversation between the mysterious Monshig, and the timid Mayu.


Nonetheless. Corpse Party Book of Shadows;

This story takes place during an "Extra BAD End", where they pull a total Muv~Luv Alternative, or at least, try to.


WARNING: This is one of the Extra chapters, that will lead to a new sequel for this game--again.

So.. Book of shadows comes out in 2 days.. I'm pretty hyped. Can't wait to play as Morishige.

Oh wow, two days? I hadn't realized. I'll have to make sure to pick it up even though I'm working my way through the first one again since all of my data got corrupted. I've been putting it off since I want an actual translation.

I've been replaying Blood covered for no real reason, then Corpse Party's social site account(s) started dropping hints of Book of shadows releasing soon. About 3-4 days ago they said for it to be released 1/15/13. Pretty amazing timing for me, if I do say so myself! Also, a bit eerie.

I'm getting a better set of earphones just for this! I loved the first Corpse Party for the PSP, and I'm definitely glad for this installment.

Here's to hoping Seiko actually gets out alive this time around.

Seconded. The true ending of this game was an absolute ball-buster. I mean yeah it's horror, but this is a really sad ending on par with Swan Song's normal ending. I mean I'm not asking for a happy ending like Muv~Luv Alternative, but let's not throw everyone in the garbage disposal before calling it quits this time around.

Don't even remind me about Naomi. I messed up on Chapter 5 and had to redo the whole 45 minutes. After that I just used a spoil-less guide.

Fuck.Chapter.Five. That entire chapter is rigged with dead ends.
