Football is BACK !

The 49ers and Patriots returned strong and there may be an upset with Miami so far leading against Arizona. Also so far the Texans are still my pick to be in the superbowl.

Great win for the Patriots today! 300 yards passing, 100 yards receiving and 100 yards rushing! 56-28!

10/13 For me.
Did not think the Lions would start sucking that badly at this point.
Divisional game, I am always rooting for Chiefs, even if I know they'll lose.
and Buc almost had that win over the Skins
Live and learn.

As for tonight.... I am still not sure, I mean if the Cowboys show up it'll be a good game, but since that always doesn't happen... I'll say the Bears.

Should be a good game, and I hear a few saying Cowboys, but I am gonna stick with Da Bears.

Once Romo turned it over once, pretty much sealed their fate. When "those" Cowboys show up, they never can pull off a win. So counting Thursday and tonight's game, I am 12/15 with my picks.

yea, much to my dismay, the bears got the W. nah, they played so much better than the 'boys did. romo got picked so much i'm not sure he knew what team he was playing for lol so i went 12/14 in week 4, not bad =P

Thursday Night Football!!
Week 5 begins.

Cardinals v. Rams

Ya know, this should end with the Cardinals winning, but something just tells me the Rams could seriously pull off an upset, but I am gonna pick the Cardinal to win.

The way the Cardinal's defense is playing and the lack of offensive weapons for the Rams, it would take a lot of turnovers for them to score enough to win. I can't understand why whoever made the season schedule thought this would be a good thursday night game. There will be Brady vs Manning, Philly vs Pittsburgh and they choose Cardinals vs Rams?!?!

I like the 2012 rams team and they are young, but lack a big name wide receiver. However, they have a young defense and offense and they are improving on both sides of the ball.

I am not gonna say, "I fucking called!" Cuz I didn't, I did though at work, amongst my co-workers I did say, that the Rams can and will do it, but that's just so we all have something to talk about the next day, since they all were saying Cardinals, even I was expecting them to win, but like I did say, the Rams can do it, and just did. I don't recall seeing any turnovers either.

that rams defense was impressive. i didn't call anything either but i was rooting for the rams but simply so they can hand the cardinals their 1st loss. good shit lol

I wasn't rooting for anyone but I have to say I didn't expect their defense to deliver like they did. actually it would be more accurate to say I underestimated how bad the Cardinals OL is and how terrible of a QB Kolb is. He constantly made the wrong reads on the D, threw too late, behind the receivers, to the ground. Fitzgerald had one on ones at least a handful of times and Kolb never moved off his first read. I honestly thought the score would be reverse as to what it ended up being.

Also the game was awful to watch, terrible play by both teams, to me the only good thing about it was the Cardinals D. If it weren't for being asleep during the first drive and a brain fart by their CB on that last TD would have an OT on hand. Jeff Fisher blitzed all night with several different packages, stunts and gap blitzes but the secondary still had several holes Kolb failed to explore. He held on to the ball for way to long. Not to mention the terrible play calling of the Cardinals offense. You knew they were selling out to the blitz and yet you go for mostly runs down the middle and long passes that take time to develop? In the 4th quarter after falling down 17-3 they finally decide to go west coast with timing throws to alleviate the pressure, and Kolb started exploring the check downs to the RB and they moved the chains in a matter of seconds. Just leaves me to wonder why in the freaking hell wouldn't you have done it before?

This was supposed to be a simple "I was wrong" post but it ended up being a rant... Oh well.

Alright, Week 5 time, and after seeing the Rams do what they did, I wanna call this "upset week" when it comes to my picks. So I expect in reality, only going like 2/14 then haha, though I'll stick with upsets that could happen, or that aren't really upsets, just opposite what I would normally have picked. So maybe I can go 7/14.

Miami at Cincinnati Actually I don't think Miami has a chance, so Cin.
Green Bay at Indianapolis Good "Luck"
Baltimore at Kansas City Fuck Yeah I am picking my Chiefs at home, if last year we could beat the Packers then this year let it be the Ravens.
Tennessee at Minnesota
Atlanta at Washington C'mon let this be the game RG3 tell me to STFU about how he's not all that.
Cleveland at NY Giants
Philadelphia at Pittsburgh C'mon, knock Vick out for good.
Seattle at Carolina
Chicago at Jacksonville DAAA BEARS
Denver at New England That's right, Peyton's gonna kick ass... maybe
Buffalo at San Francisco As much as I wanna see this be an upset, again I just don't see it happening.
San Diego at New Orleans WOW IDK WHO TO PICK HERE. Really I don't actually. I'd hate to see NO be 0-5 but I also know that it can happen against the current Chargers team, but at home helps, so I am gonna pick the Saints to finally get a "W".

EDIT: (5min into Quarter 1 of the morning games)
Holy shit, did I say Giants?! Wow. Go Browns!! Too bad I made my pick. Upset week just may continue ??
