Holy shit, did I say Giants?! Wow. Go Browns!! Too bad I made my pick. Upset week just may continue ??

Victor Cruz has your back.

That's pretty much why I pick Giants to win in the first place, and win they are about to do.

Damn my Chiefs were so close!!! So what we lost, but I am sure everyone had to look twice at the final score.

The thing that upsets me about the eagles is that they have the talent to win and score early in games, but the constant turnovers and mistakes is holding them back. Also congrats to the colts and dolphins and their awesome win over the Packers and Bengals.

That's Romeo Crennel for you. He's a great DC. Not sure how good a HC he is though.

How 'bout dem Colts? Is GB that worse off without Philbin?

Yeah... but he's a lot better than our last HC, already forgot about him lol

Damn right them Colts! I don't think their that worse, but it does show. So far my picks for upset week have been fifty-fifty somewhat. Shoulda just gone with my original picks, oh well. Still hope though.

Looks like the Patriots vs. Broncos game is going to be which fast paced offense can score the most.

Todd Haley is terrible in all fronts.

It seemed that way before the game but right up until halftime it was a rout by the Pats. As a Pats fan myself I was extremely encouraged by the 31-7 win. I finally thought the D had turned around. Them here comes the third quarter and the Broncos march at will on us. If it weren't for a lucky drop by McGehee and a clutch forced fumble by Ninkovic that game could have gone the other way. The 4th and 5 that BB decided to go for it is baffling. It seems when he goes up against Manning he has zero trust in his D.

Let us never mention that name again....

EDIT:

Well.... my "upset week" prediction didn't go so well, but anyone who was watching the games knows that it could have happened. I picked the Chiefs, Bengals, Skins, Panthers all to win, and boy those were all close games.

Overall I went 6/12 this Sunday, add in Thursday... 6/13

I wouldn't call Bengals over Dolphins an upset. Actually the Dolphins winning was the upset imo.

For tonight's game I expect nothing other than a Jets trouncing. If Houston does not steamroll I will be extremely surprised. I'm thinking 14 point win maybe even 21.

Yeah, the patriots' offense is scary good because of how unstoppable, fast, and almost perfect it is. I did not expect the Broncos to be down that much and for the Broncos to almost come back. Also the Broncos are not a bad team and if they stop making so many mistakes they can be very good team.

Did anyone predict that the Vikings would be leading in their division?

Hell no. I'm shocked. The Packers are a shell of themselves. One night their D looks amazing (against the Bears) and the next they give up 21 point leads (against Colts). The Bears are one bad loss away from a Jay Cutler moment and a fractured locker room, and the Lions are becoming the old Lions.

I thought this division would be tougher than the NFC East. I wonder what I was smoking when I said that.

It's surprising that the Vikings are tied for the lead in the NFC north, but their schedule was fairly easy. Vs Jaguars, at Colts and Vs Titans are all games they could win. Now the surprise was beating the 49ers and the implosion of the Lions. All in all they should be 3-2 imo, which would put them second in the division.

To me the bigger surprise ind that division is the Packers. Sure their defense was the worst last year, sure they have not improved much upon it this year, but their offense was dominating teams last year. This year they are not even close to that. I don't know if it's because they expect to dominate and aren't putting the effort they needed to or if losing Philbin made a huge hit on their team but that offense is light years away from what it used to be.

This year seems like there aren't any juggernauts. Maybe you could say the 49ers and the Texans, but I don't fear them as I did the Saints, the Packers and the Ravens last year. Even though the Falcons are undefeated I don't think their D is any good and their O is not scary good either. They also had one of the easiest schedules. Chiefs, Chargers, Panthers and Redskins are all awful, and the Broncos almost beat them even after Manning throwing 3 interceptions.

This has been a longer post that I wished to make and I still haven't vented about the QB's yet. Just to make it short I hate Vick and Newton and am glad they are doing a poor job. I'll expand upon it later.

Oh yeah if it wasn't obvious, my pick for tonight's game is Texans stomping on the Jets.

Even though the Texans ended up winning that was an extremely disappointing performance. Their offense was lackluster at best and their D gave up 17 points to the freaking Jets. If you combined both of the Jets QB's they barely have one.

On a positive note J.J. Watt is a beast. I did not like him during the draft but he has more than proven to be a 3 down player and an exceptional one at that.

As I said in my previous post I have no fear of the Texans and this game just made me more confident the Pats can beat them. It looks like this year everything is up for grabs, from wild card berths, to division titles and even #1 overall seeds. The only certainty this season is that the Browns are still a joke of a team.

Thursday Night Football
Steelers v. Titans

Considering how close Ben is to beating Terry's passing record, this could be the game he does it. Of course he's bound to do it this game or next, its just sad that it won't be a home game when he does it.
Anyways, Steelers win this game, and I saying by double digits.

Titans lead at halftime? Say what? WHAT? Road teams are really struggling on TNF.

I can't believe it either. Titans are playing great! Compared to how they have been at least.

I know 54 yards field goals aren't a gimme, but Suisham never made a FG longer than 52?

Steelers O underperformed big time against what's probably the worst D in football. Maybe tied with the Pats D.

Totally did not see this actually happening. I really didn't think the injuries, before the game, would have such an impact, but as the game went on and more O-line guys were getting injured... I can see how a loss is possible. Though, a loss to the Titans... just wow. Really didn't see this going for them.
