GO CHIEFS!!!

That is all.

Playoff time, so its time to make some guesses predictions

49ers at Packers: I'll take the Packers as the upset of the week. Why? The weather is going to be crazy cold, and they're a cold weather team

Saints at Eagles: I'll take the Saints. I just think they are the better team, no matter where these two teams play

Chiefs at Colts: I'll take the Colts. They destroyed them two weeks ago, but I'm alot less sure of this pick then any of the others...

Chargers at Bengals: They are the most evenly matched of the other teams playing each other. I'm leaning towards the Bengals for the same reason I'm taking the Packers.

49ers, Colts, Saints and Chargers all won this weekend. Can't wait for Patriots Vs. Colts!

Unfortunately all 3 of my teams missed the playoffs. I don't watch football as much as I used to (Hockey FTW) but here's my pics:

Chargers @ Broncos: Broncos As long as Peyton plays well. Would not be surprised over an upset here though

49ers @ Panthers: Panthers Cam has a big shot to prove what he's really worth and I think he'll play well.

Saints @ Seahawks: Seahawks They're at home. They are deadly at home. If Saints were at home I'd probably pick them.

Colts @ Patriots: Colts Only because I hate the patriots. Plus huge win over the Chiefs.

Kinda late to make picks, but

Chargers at Broncos: I'll take the Broncos, though I'm really uneasy right now.
Spoiler:
YOU BETTER FUCKING WIN!!!DON'T LET ME DOWN PLEAAAAAAASE!!!

49ers at Panthers: My gut tells me the Panthers will win. If I overthink this, I'll change my mind. So I won't overthink it.

Now all these fans and sportswriters can slow down when it comes to Andrew Luck. He's good, but he's not Joe Montana. He'll get better, but let's not crown him prematurely.

Agreed. Even before his NFL debut everyone was saying he'd be the king. They said the same (though not to the same extent) as Geno Smith. Luck is good but it's too early to call him great.

Also the patriots won and now I'm sad.

Manning vs. Brady! Gonna be a really good game #Ring4 #GoPats!

Pats at Broncos: I'm picking the Broncos, but seriously I don't care. What I do care is that the winner of this game win the Superbowl. These are two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and I'd like for either of them to win.

49ers at Seahawks: The 49ers are the better overall team imo but the 12th man gives the Seahawks a crazy advantage. I'll take the Seahawks
0
49ers @ Seahawks: My picks the Seahawks. Home field advantage. Also I'd like to see them to go to the superbowl. I still remember when they were a rather poor team.

Patriots @ Broncos: Going with the Broncos. If the Pats were home I'd pick them instead.

We'll see if I actually watch any of the games. I've only seen one and a half of the games in the playoffs so far.

Longtime Pats fan here. This is going to be a great game, given the stakes, though this may turn out to be less about the QBs and more about each respective teams (Defense, Special teams, etc.). And I'm sure the Broncos will shore up their run D, given the Pats heavy use of the run the previous game.

the one stat I care about the most this weekend is the fact that Brady has had Manning's number every time in the playoffs(except once).

Let's go Peyton Manning!!! Dominated yesterday.

As for Seattle vs San Francisco, what a game! If Kaepernick makes a better throw, 49ers win. Lynch is a beast, and Sherman is nasty:

There's been so much talk about Sherman being an asshole, a classless clown, etc. I'm interested in what you guys think.

My opinion is simple. If you don't like what he says, beat him. Very simple. I actually loved what he said. He didn't curse. He sounded off on someone who started some beef with him in the past. And he was interviewed literally seconds after he made that play. What did you expect him to say? Did people want Sherman to sing praises about the 49ers? He's was still in the heat of the game. I loved it. I won't argue about the choke jesters he made, but I loved everything else.

Patriots lost, sad yes but when you consider the amount of problems the Patriots had this season, I think they did better than expected.

That being said, mad respect to Peyton for a hell of a game.

I had a feeling this would be the superbowl matchup since the first few weeks of football. Two good games (I actually watched them both). Kap made a couple of bad throws that both ended in big interceptions and did you see the passing yards by Peyton? Oh boy this should be good. Seattle and Denver. Unarguably the two best teams in the league.
I think Seattle is a more complete team then Denver, but Denver's got Manning. Hard to say who'll win.

Did anyone else just tune out most of the two weeks leading up to the game? I hate all of the hype, the media asking stupid and redundant questions. I just want to see a good game.

So this is my opinion. I want the Broncos to win. I want Peyton Manning to cap off the incredible year he's had with a ring. This is a neutral field, so that 12th man stuff ain't happening which might make it easier for the Denver offense to get going. The Denver defense needs to contain Marshon Lynch. If they do, and that's a big if, they have a great chance to win. I'm going with the Broncos.

Spoiler:
I hope I didn't just jinx them :(

You jinxed them.

Anyways I didn't pay attention to anything football related the past two weeks. Glad I didn't cause that was a Blowout. Ended up skipping the game past the second half and watching the commercials. I sure would of hated to spend all that money on those tickets.

I did, didn't I?

I also couldn't watch the whole game. It got too depressing at 29-0. Didn't even watch the commercials. Started watching Brain Games instead. Pretty entertaining.

Now be amazed as tomorrow becomes Rip Peyton Manning To Shreds Day by the media.

Probably. Though I don't blame Manning for the Broncos defeat. Only one interception was his fault really. The Seahawks defensive line was just too overwhelming and his O line didn't preform well at all.

NFL is once again BACK!! yes yes that superbowl was shitty. that defense was blah blah blah. time to start anew as what is expected to be yet another great football season. starting with tonight's match up of packers vs seahawks. awww yeah !! any predictions? i got packers winning it by a field goal. anyone else?

Seahawks still have a suffocating defense so Rodgers will have a tough time finding receivers. Seahawks will win 23-20.

Also i really hate these Thursday night games. I stopped doing fantasy football cause I always forgot to set my lineup by Thursday...Stick to Sunday and Monday NFL!
