[Anime] Sket Dance

I was expecting an anime of Sket Dance for a long, long time now, and it's finally happened!

Anime has been green-lit for 2011

I haven't read the manga yet, but I did some research, and it seems like a really fun series. Definitely going to check it out.

The manga is lacking in translators, so with an anime coming up, i'm hoping someone will pick it up gain

Watched the first episode of Sket Dance last night, and I thought that it was a solid start.
Spoiler:
Hime is probably my favorite character so far, and I love her bold attitude that she claims that she can suppress now. Usui was also a lot of fun, and I really like hearing Sugita Tomokazu's voice overdubbed with an electronic sound.

I was also a bit surprised at the first plot line, and didn't expect that the transfer student was the one behind the paint, (I could have sworn it was going to be the player that they kept bumping into). I was glad that the Sket crew was able to help the transfer student out in the end, and help him move on with his life.

The animation was also very well done, and I'm hoping that it will continue to impress me.

the first epd was good lets hope the series continues to get better...

the first episode was really really cool, the whole sket dance crew had their funny moments. but they also had their serious moments which really made me go wow. I definitely look forward to the next episode.

the second episode has those moments...the flaming dragon piece of gum and the chase of the monkey. I'm really starting to like this series.

I have GOT to buy Friskes now!

I have already read the manga, but the anime just made it all more awesome with its over-the-top hyper effects and sounds xDDD

Also, Pervy, I think it's not gum, but rather a breathmint.

This anime is one of the ones I was looking forward to. I just wonder how far it's gonna go into the manga before they end it.

this was a very very strong episode...I couldn't help but cry at the end, it was just so hard to think about. I really feel for Kazuyoshi...
