It's an adaptation from a manga with the same name, or in Japanese called Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai.
Since it's an adaptation, I am assuming the story will cover what the manga has covered so far.

I am excited to see the anime this fall (spring if you live in the southern part of the equator). For those who wants to know what the anime/manga is all about, just check the link that I posted above out.

I've heard the manga is good so will be watching when it airs. Hopefully my to-read list will be much shorter by then

CG looks kinda cheap.

Gonna have to agree with you here. It's a let down indeed.

If I remember correctly the person translating the Light Novels of this anime, mentioned that there was a Yandere. Will check it out for that alone, but could be interesting even if the CG is a bit underwhelming.

The character design doesn't really appeal to me but the CG looks decent enough. Well, I got into this due to the manga so it's a given I'll follow this.

Spoiler:
Another interesting first episode. I would love to have Yaya as my doll. This is definitely going on my watch list for this season.

I'm digging the anachronological feel to this anime. It's nice to see that the main character is kinda bad ass...but how is he ranked so low? There's a bit of prejudice elements in this anime as well something I rarely see in anime. BTW, I wanna take Yaya home :3. I'm definitely watching this one.

Not before I take Yaya home with ME! :D, which prejudice elements did you see, I don't recall seeing prejudices.. I too will be watching all this one has to offer.

Remember when people were whispering in his presence about how he looked? 'what's with his black hair?' Maybe it wasn't prejudice, but it's like they'd seen a man with a third arm growing outta his head.

Ohh that part, I figured it was because he's some new guy, and they somehow don't have many black hair dudes. But yeah I think they saw him like he was a grotesque monster.

Ep 1:
Spoiler:
It's a decent start. I like the feel of the Industrial pseudo-steampunk/fantasy setting, though I wonder why shows with these settings always have to start on a train.

Also, I really like Yaya's character design. The effect of having line work that's lighter than the base color looks good in my opinion. I should try drawing a dark haired character using this style.

Great episode! I'm really liking the whole puppeteer learning stuff and science behind it all.. Yaya is amazing as always. Charl's automaton sigmund is so cute n cuddly in his small form.. I just wanna squuuuueeezee him!

This thing about a puppeteer killing like jack the ripper is pretty cool too, liking this anime a lot :)

Why must anime main characters never like small/medium sized breasts?

Raishin got owned pretty quickly in this episode. Hopefully he'll makes up for it next time.

This series looks really good so far; I read what there is of the manga (not the LN, though) and the adaptation seems to be good. Also, I'm really liking the animation. It's interesting, what with the use of brown (I think it's brown) as the line color, rather than the standard black. It gives a different, softer-seeming feel to the anime. I like it quite a lot. Also, Yaya is adorable.

This is worth watching
Spoiler:
Just because Yaya is awesome. I was expecting the girl Raishin was with that kicked him to be Cannibal Candy. Its impressive even one of the rounds would kill dolls just to be Wise Man.
