BEST ANIME FIGHT EVER
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, but especially for semi-realitic fights, with great art and animation, I personally think it's hard to beat Seirei no Moribito. Just from a technical level with very few of the reused animations that shonen shows use it's pretty impressive. It doesn't have a lot of fight scenes, because it's not one of those types of shows. But the fights it does have are extremely impressive in my mind, and far better than your average shonen show with two people throwing waves of energy at each other while posing with constant reused animations.Mmmm, Balsa.
ive seen Seirei no Moribito with no eng translation so yeah i was amazed with the art but i like power house fights especialy cause there not possible in reality and those are what people think of right off the bat when they see this forum... but i agree

1.light vs L
well it's not a fight, more of a "calm and collected battle"
2.as for real fight,i pick all the fights from dragon ball.
there's no other battle in epic proportion like that of db.
(i remember a planet destroyed in on of the fight.....)
try messin' with that.

That's because its like #1 in the list of all time worst drawn out, reused frame, ridiculous posing fights ever created in the history of the world. I mean the one fucking fight was like, what, 30 episodes? I practically gave up on shounen shows for like 5 years after that.

I'm not really picky when it comes to fight scenes, but some of my favorites come from:
Samurai X
Dragonball
Ranma 1/2
Saint Seiya
Samurai Champloo
Afro Samurai
Cowboy Bebop
Naruto
Berserk
Bleach
Ikkitousen
Gantz
Hellsing
And some others I don't remember.
Oh, and ultenth likes it in the pooper.[/h]

IkkitousenOne of the best fights is Kanu vs. Hakufu from Dragon Destiny when Kanu fights in Sousou's place.
...and Kanu vs. Chou-un from Great Guardians. I can't find a clip of that, but if you saw it you know it was the shit.

For me, almost all the fight from the nanoha series.
And recently I saw the "upgraded" Appleseed (CG and cel shading), and the intro fight in that was really awesome

Mmmm, Balsa indeed. XD I agree with you ultenth, I seem to favor the non supernatural ones and if their are superpowers involved it has to impress me greatly.

Adult swim is going to start airing it sometime in August.

Sweet, I loved that show. I was hoping for people to get into it. Maybe airing it on adult swim will get people's attention.

For me, Sword of the Stranger fight scenes were some of the best I 've seen in a long time.
Shirugui deserves special mention not because it was badass as Sword but the tension was incredible whenever 2 swordsmen faced off.
