Bleach 201... is there still hope ?

Honestly - I've given up on this anime a long time ago. The first 60 or so episodes were one of so very very few that hooked me this much. Then it all went wrong. Changing and censoring the manga, lousy filler arcs, to much talking and material stretching and a notable drop in quality.

Yet today I watched ep 201 (call it curiosity) and I was pleasantly surprised. The material is still stretched and we can't go back to the old-school sword fighting but this was closer to the good old days than it was for over 50 episodes IMO - good mindless entertainment.
Maybe it's because I worship Zaraki or maybe because of the badass choral insert music but this wasn't half bad I tell you ... 8)

I've LOST ALL HOPE with this anime for quite a long time ago!
When I've had enough of an anime...that means FOREVER! NO MORE CHANCE OF ANY REDEMPTION!

and neither do I have any character that I like in particular which makes it more difficult for me to accept this series ever again... at least you have Zaraki... but me, I have none! I don't hate them but I don't like them either...

I do the same usually. I've stopped watching the series hell knows how long ago. It's just that knowing the manga I'm able to keep up with the story even watching 1 out of 20 eps. As I said - it was due to sheer curiosity that I've bumped into this one ...

you don't have to explain dasiek, I understand what you're saying. I didn't meant to assault this topic, I was just being BLUNT with how I feel towards Bleach as an anime series. I actually liked it in the beginning... I've even endured til the Bounto arc, but the Orihime-rescue arc etc. etc. I've reached my limits... they just started to fly without any explanations etc. I'll stop here before I say something insulting...believe me, I've got a lot of issues with this series!!!

I still enjoy the manga and the anime. Bleach and Naruto are enjoyable to me as long as the anime isn't in filler. If either of those animes are in filler (Naruto is in filler now and Bleach will probably be in filler soon because it is catching up to the manga pretty quickly) I feel like cutting my wrists. 8)
