Yeah, I kinda expected this kind of thing to be coming soon. Gosh I wish they wouldn't cliffhanger the chapter before anything happens in it. I feel shorted on this one.

Is anyone really that surprised about it? Don't mangas usually have random chapters that are mainly explanations and talking? Since when is that a new thing?

Haha, it's nothing new really, I'm just not used to it because up until recently I only read completed mangas or I wasn't up to date on anything so I didn't have to worry about these kinds of chapters.
