Well I was trying to get one of my friends to watch a certain anime series, he replied by saying, 'only emo ppl watch that' so I ask what is am emo anime? or what animes are emo?

emo anime? doesn't exists.... the one who said that is very closed minded and doesn't want to open up... or maybe he made up some rules for himself that are not to be broken and said the first thing that went thru his mind.... there aren't such thing as emo animes... or only emo watch anime... anyone can watch anime... little or grown up... they are made for everyone :)

animes arent only for the emo crowd.

Kill him. Or re-educate him very slowly, and very painfully. We who watch anime must teach the world it isn't on the same level as their drugged-up and violent sex-filled crap they call "TV". At least anime is art :3
