fate stay night ending

didnt see this here (although its a little late.....or too late) i really wanted to make a thread about this so i made one(its one of my favorite anime series).......anyway back to the topic.......


sad ending......almost made me cry.........specially when shiro said "someday,my memories will fade,....and her voice,her actions,i might forgot them as well, but even so,i'll always remember that i loved a girl named saber"

he also said "people die when they are killed" =X

but yea it's a good ending. I prefer the visual novel over the anime though. My favorite ending is the sad Sakura route ending. Also, you get to see Lancer be a badass in the Rin route. And Shirou actually becomes a force to be reckoned with in those routes as well.

I don't care for the anime ending, to me Unlimited Blade Works is the only one that matters. I like it better than Heaven's feel or Fate, despite the fact that in general I would prefer Sakura over Rin. I guess I just can't get behind the fact that Shirou's body is all fake in Sakura's ending. Seems annoying.

Amen, but wasn't it just Shirou's arm that didn't belong to him in HF? Well technically whatever belonged to Archer belongs to him anyways so I didn't really mind that too much.

In HF he sacrificed his life to save Sakura, until (who I forgot) comes and makes him a new body.

It's better than watching Sakura helplessly wait for him for an eternity.

Oh that, I compared it to how Serge got his body back in Chrono Cross.



Oh yeah, that was a very bitter ending. Rather chug a bottle of hot sauce than read that again.

The HF ending is: When Shirou died, his soul went inside Rin's pendant and Rider found it in the stream exiting from the cave afterwards. Rin knew someone who could create a puppet body and put his soul in it (think Aozaki Aoko from Tsukihime/Kara no Kyokai). Apparently the soul has a major contribution on how you look and changed the puppet to look like he originally did and with the little remaining magic that was already in the pendant he has a few weak magic circuits.

But he can use full strength right? Cause I heard that Rin said about they can be an invincible force if combined. Well, I personally like the UBW cause the battle and Rin. Hehehehe the anime is good, though it seems Gilgamesh fated to die without fighting seriously. Sigh, how many times he died cause he underestimate others

Yeah. And he's pretty famous for it. :)



Well, that ending was... sad, but well done.
But I'm just getting kind of pissed off with all those must_not_end_with_pure_happiness endings in almost every japanese book, novel, manga, anime or whatever. They're not bad, just... DAMN I NEED SOME PURE HAPPY ENDING! :oops:

also when saber said "your unfair shiro, you'v entered me soo many times"

After watching the anime I had too many questions as well as a little twitch in my heart I had to play the visual novel. Best thing I ever did. I loved all routes and it is my favourite VN.

I remember those parts. Maybe it was the translations, I dunno.

The ending made me sad. When she finally admits she loves Shirou, she disappears. That made me go, "Aww, dude that sucks for Shirou." :cry:

2nded......i first thought that saber will return to shiro after she died (after throwing her sword to the lake)........but didnt happen.......but still.........a good watch!
