Good? bad?
I think good because the American audience has a high-octane series they can latch onto after Bleach and Naruto, and Code Geass is simply being fucked over by [AS]. Course, this is beside the fact that the dub could be horrible. I'm just saying, the fact that it's getting to the shores will significantly help the anime fandom here and expand the audience.
There's one thing that bothers me though. Soul Eater, 51 episode epoch is being licensed, while there is a perfectly good shounen series suitable for the American audience in the form of D. Gray Man just sitting there unclaimed.

I just saw a picture of a bunch of stuff Funimation grabbed on 4chan, this was one of them. I think it's a good thing, Funimation has been pretty good with their dubs so far. But thats just my opinion.

It sounds good I just started reading the series and it seems good so far.
I know most people hate dubs but I love them. I just hope it airs on tv.

I just hope that the dubbed version doesn't ruin the humor in the story... 'cuz sometimes it does.

Mmm...
I, personally, despise Dubs like Islam despises women, so I will probably never say to myself "Ahh, a show I like is going to be dubbed. Yay!"
I look forward to buying the DVDs, though.

Funimation also got Seto no hanayome and El Cazador De La Bruja?! That's what it looks like on funimation.com
Suddenly my opinion of Funimation has went up despite the fact that I heard Ufo Princess valkyrie went to them too, hasn't been produced yet? Overall I'm pretty pleased now. I dun care about dubs, I only need subs.

It's a great manga, and I've heard the anime even makes some parts better.
Maybe it's because the anime just kind of stopped, and the manga itself has been stagnant for months, as well?

This is about how I feel 9 times out of 10. If I had any more space in my sig I'd be quoting you there. ;_;
I'm none too fond of funimation, so I'll probably be crying tears of blood when I hear some kids at the mall one day talking about some horribly maligned series that JUST SO HAPPENS to be the Soul Eater I knew and loved.

The subs are always better but I hope the dubs don't ruin it.Allways hated dubs, allways will
Even when it comes down to other stuff than anime i want the original sound with text. But I guess that's because I've been used to it since birth. ( Yea, thank god for Swedens televisions choice of subbing everything rather than dubbing it )
Though I wont watch it myself, I hope they manage to create good dubs for thoose of you who chooses to watch them.

I'm happy for the simple reason that I'll be able to collect it :3
Whether the dub is good or not isn't really an issue - for me at least. Just a bonus if it's well done.
Funimation rocks at licensing. Thank god for them being the MAN of the anime industry in the States.
