.Hack//ROOT?!?

Hmmmmmmm well Dot Hack//ROOT is a good short series but there is one thing that has been bothering me about it. Well that thing is the end cause the series its self only has "26 episodes" and 3 video games titled Dot Hack//G.U.(PS2) and well to get the the full story and evidently the ending of the whole series in the last game. So if some one can please fill me in on the ending that would be just Grand! Cheers.

Actually, .. it's a little odd how the series works. It begins with .hack//roots until, I believe, the last two episodes or so. Around 24, it jumps to the G.U. games, and then at the end of the second G.U. game, it goes back to episodes 25 and 26 of roots. This is because they released the games as roots completed, .. or something.
In any case, the last anything of G.U., that we've been introduced to as of yet, is the OVA Returner for .hack//roots. It takes place a little while after the three games, and kind of wraps up any loose ends.
Maybe that will help? Also, if you liked .hack//roots, I'd suggest watching/reading/playing all other .hack things. It's a great series.

Or you could just wait until .hack//GU Trilogy is fansubbed. It is a two-hour movie based on the three GU games.

No. It isn't. .hack//trilogy is pretty much .. horrible. In every sense of the word. It's been fansubbed for some time now, and it's a piece of trash, pretty much. There's maybe five lines spoken in the movie about Epitaph Users. About ten spoken about Aina. And, oh, about 1:58 hours worth spoken of Haseo x Atoli. And even that was done poorly. It was just a complete waste of time.

Hello, fellow Haseo x Alkaid fan! Anyway, I hear the fansub floating around right now is horrible, full of Engrish and bad grammar.

This guy is planning to fansub the movie as well as the parody mode. And he fansubbed .hack//Roots and imported the IMOQ and GU games, so he's a .hack fan.
