Help Naming a Manga Series!

Hi,
Im hoping someone can help me here. Years back I had a vast manga collection...I ended up selling them off. Low and behold Im getting back into them and I am starting to buy the manga I once had. There was one series I really want to get again, but for the life of me, I cant remember its name! Ive spent a few hours hunting for the name online with no luck, so really helping it rings a bell with someone here who can name it!
Ok, I only vaguely remember some details about it....
The main character was a girl, and I think at the beginning maybe her BF dies/is killed. I think she gets involved with the police somehow who need her help in tracking down this killer or serial killer, and it possibly had a supernatural element to it. I do remember that over the volumes shes regularly in a state of undress at times. I think she had contact with the police unit via a phone as they guy helping her out could never met her in person for some reason I cant remember. It was quite dark, but has humorous elements to it.
I know its vague guys, and hopefully I havent got the info mixed up with other series I used to have! lol
