And so, the series that wouldn't shut up (yet was nicely animated) finally ends. My major complaint with this episode specifically: Mikoto didn't show up in time even though a 5-story stone golem was trying its hardest to destroy the surrounding area and was otherwise being loud and obnoxious.

As we move on into the future, let's hope that A Certain Scientific Railgun isn't treated badly.

At least we get treated to a bit of attempted yuri raepage at the very end.

It's really really sad. I had such high expectations for this anime when I saw the first couple of episodes and... and...

sigh words can't express my disappointment.

It was well animated though and I liked most of the characters. Shame the story had such FAIL written all over it.

I bet there would be a 2nd season... or is it that "a certain scientific railgun"?

Over huh ? That thing had more talking heads than Fallout...

Anyways - I've dropped it at ep 16 (or was it 15 ... ?) and only checked out 18 to see Biri-biri go dere-dere. Anything else worth checking out afterwards ? I don't give a rat's ass about that so-called 'story' so what I'm asking for would be either noteworthy humor or quality service.

They've should've renamed this anime into "A Certain Misfortune Right Hand"....

The ending of this season is a bit "demotivating". I just hope IF there is a 2nd season it's going to be better, and They REALLY need to change the title of this anime.

You've seen pretty much all the good episodes (along with the worst ones). I'd only recommend episode 21 as the only good episode you didn't watch.

Oh, there's going to be another season provided the response wasn't so bad that they lost money from airing it. -_-

They've got at least 20 volumes of Light Novel material to work with. -_-

when magic and science collides...pointless shounen speeches begin...

Well, the ending kinda suck. I thought I see a gem in this anime, but it fails me. Sigh, I even have hope that all the one that he beat will help him to fight her making him trully has the faction. Hahahaha, sigh I know I shouldn`t hope it.
edit: What makes me hope is the conversation with that fire man where the admin??? asked what does Kamijyo`s hand signifies?

Hehe, you said it.

Like the others, I watched this series with high expectations, which quickly devolved into fan service, cute girls, half-assed enemies with even more half-assed explanations for motives and background information, etc. Oh yea, let's not forget the all important Touma impression, "I'm a guy, you're a girl - Imma save you and while I'm at it, I'll deliver my awesome shonen speech to shame you to kingdom come, so eat my right Imagine Breaker fist, kono yarou!"

Yea, I don't expect anything more from the Railgun series, but I still liked this series because the animation was great.

The ending was practically screaming "there will be another season", with all the hints and new characters thrown at us. 8)
