Nothing much happening in this episode. Just Imagine Breaker getting cut off (and put back on), Stiyl being skinned alive, and the alchemist conveniently losing his memories and magic powers in the end. Of course no one cares about that because the next episode has some serious amounts of Mikoto in it!

true not much happened besides some1 getting skinned alive and and getting there right arm chopped off lol, but i thought that was pretty cool to say the least
but that guys laugh was weird...i was like wtf when he started laughing...

I don't anything happens in this series... but I keep watching hoping there'll be a great plot somewhere.

I've come to realize that this episode would have been better if Aureolous used mainly illusion-creating magic instead of the thought-turned-real magic. This would've made Stiyl's reaction to his skin removal and Touma's reaction to his arm removal a lot more believable.

Stihl's only reaction to the Lady of Pain treatment was bleeding... but yeah, I think that Illusion forged reality would have been better, as it would have made more sense.

Because for someone of his power level to NOT be able to deal with Index's problem, or even (as Touma brought up) conjure up a vampire seems pretty stupid for a master level Alchemist.



Also, next week appears to be the start of the Accelerator arc, and you know what that means.... the impetus of Biribiri-cest doujins.

Haha at the "biribiri-cest doujins". I just don't get this anime anymore. How is Stiyl not unhurt getting his skinned ripped off while Touma's arm actually was cut then put back together? ...

If Mikoto's sister doesn't have the biribiri-type power, then it technically wouldn't be birincest, just twincest.

The point of his power is that, when he uses it, it makes whatever occurs in his mind happen exactly as he wants it to happen(that's why he pricks himself with the needle, by focusing on that pain, he can blank his mind to create the exact thing he wants).

Actually, as I think about it, it explains why he can't really create a vampire, because he doesn't know what a REAL vampire is, exactly... he'd conjure up Bela Lugosi.

If you watch, when Touma goes batshit insane and starts laughing at the guy, he momentarily thinks that his powers are failing, so most of his spell effects are undone(hence Stiyl is still alive). It's also why Touma's Imagine Breaker could revive Aisa, his magic is an ongoing revision of reality, so the spells effects can be broken with a touch(Touma could have revived Stiyl himself later... well, if his hand hadn't been cut off).

At least that's how I take it...

Also, you're right, none of the Sisters have Biribiri's powers... I just like the term, so I'll continue using it for the fun of it. :D

There have been two really good Biribiri and Lesporter Yuri doujin so far, though, and that makes me optimistic. (Also, I have a bad habit of using Nicknames for side characters, have you noticed?)

I thought this episode was much better than the last. It actually somewhat made sense why Index was captured, even though she walked right into it. It had some pretty good action in it too, so it was fun to watch. Touma looked absolutely INSANE when he was walking towards Lezzard with his arm cut off and covered in blood. And then there was cute Index all over the place. When she was sleeping on the desk and when she saw Touma in the hospital. Deep Blood was cute too when she went to see Touma.

Wow. I think Spongebob was about the last thing I'd ever see on Fakku. haha
And to keep relevant with the topic, good episode. Lots of blood. Fun stuff.
