As long as there is more screen time for pikachu-themed female classmate, whose name I can never recall, I will be watching this new season.

Infinite Stratos always reminds me of Triggeheart Exelica (for the armor design of some sorts)for some reason. I haven't watched the series yet but hopefully I will be able to download and watch IS before this whole new thing comes out.

Seems like the character designs are remaining as they are from s1, and this seems to be more of a straight sequel than an actual reboot IMO.

No, the only thing that got rebooted was the LN. The anime picks up where it left off... Though I dunno if I can suffer through Ichika's denseness all over again...

LN continues at vol 8 with CHOCO as the illustrator, speaking of which, the illustrations for vol 8 are up on BT. Its just going with a new publisher. The anime on the other hand might do a slight reboot to introduce the characters that were and were not in the previous one before getting into the more serious matter which include Tatenashi(?)

Ichika got less than half a nut. Not watching/reading.

Now I'm really confused... Half the sources I go to says it isn't a reboot... But apparently the trailer says it is....

I personally liked the show, regardless of fan service. It settled as a refreshing break from all the drama, and frontier action of the more compelling and serious animes.

Robofights-n-titties makes for one great american past-time, and then we include it's already large collection of fan made hentai, and you already have a good standard for harem anime.

Well that was a pretty meh first episode. Why'd they start off all slice-of-life, then suddenly action, then back to s-o-l again? Not a good start.

Still, more Charlotte and Laura, so can't really complain.

- I think Ichika became a bit more intolerable, which is saying something since he was already an extremely unlikeable character.
- Couldn't help but feel that this episode was just one big "Fuck You."
- I still can't find a reason to like anyone else besides Char or Laura.

I... I don't think I care anymore. I'm done.

After rewatching S1, I noticed that Ichika became his trademark dense (or sadistic) self from ep 3 and on. Thus, I stopped caring about anything that came out of his mouth. (partly to prevent any table flip moment)
