Most Overrated Anime?

I think that K-ON is probably the most 'overrated' Anime but thats only because I dont think anyone consciously 'rates' One Piece (Et~Cetera) because they're absolute CRAP! (Fans watch it like drones and not without good reason... It goes on FOREVER)
When im 80 years old and suffering from senile dementia then maybe i'll change my mind on Naruto/One Piece but I seriously doubt it! These series will most probably still be going beyond 2075, long after ive left my mortal coil on this World. (Thank god)

With Naruto, I think I may continue watching it. Not the first series. God, no. Experience has told me never to sit through a series dedicated to fillers.

Lmao what? The first season (or whatever you wanna call it) had exactly one filer arc, and it was only two episodes long. If you're gonna watch anything Naruto related i suggest you watch that.
Shippuden is fuckin horrible, the high budget fighting episodes being the exceptions.

K-on is my answer.I can't understand why there is no option for K-on. I try to watch it many times so that I can understand what others people are talking about but then I always stop at fifth minute of the episode I try to watch. I can't understand why a lot of people like it. Moe maybe the main reason but other than that I found nothing about this series.

Naruto, should be obvious why. K-on too, it's not bad but it's also nothing special. Also Clannad is not that great, Clannad After Story on the other hand is where it's at.

Mobile Suit Gundam is pretty overrated. People say its godly and more superior to any other gundam show save for Zeta. Its actually not that great and suffers from terrible terrible lapses in quality.

I'm surprised no one has said Death Note yet. Don't get me wrong, it's a great anime, but the fanbase makes it sound way more amazing than it really is. Also, most things that people consider overrated also tend to have some pretty shitty fanbases.

Little character development, a main character that never shuts up, a fanbase that annoys me to no end, and I really just don't like series that go on and on because most of it feels like padding. While it really isn't the spawn of satan's anus, a lot of people give it to much credit. That's just my opinion, some people like it, whatever floats your boat, I just don't really get it. Shippuden was a vast improvement I will admit, but it still wasn't very good. I haven't actually read a whole lot of One Piece, but what I read was pretty decent, so it's probably my favorite mainstream shounen. Also KLoWn, haven't we had this discussion before?

What ticked me off about Death Note is not only their fanbase that won't shut up, but their characters always having internal monologues every 5 minutes.

I don't think Pokemon is overrated, I think its just over done. Most overrated in my opinion definitely goes to K-on. It's otaku fan-base scares the shit outta me.

First of all I laughed my ass of at your comment on what I watch, I found it funny. So yeah, I find Naruto to be the most overrated anime because everybody says it's the best out there, atleast to me, then when I finally watch it it turns out it's not. Everybody kept giving me too high expectations of it therefore making it overrated for me when I finally watched and didn't like it.
And I watched Rosario + Vampire cuz I loved to laugh at it and I guess that was the point of the anime because I didn't find any other point.
Edit: I also want to add that it goes on forever thus extending the story line that could've been done at 26 to 50 episodes at max, they are prolonging it too much.
