He was trying to unite the world and do it fast to stop any more wars, but people didn't really like that so he ended up starting a big ass war. That made him lose faith and he became a dick. This "evil for a good reason" is fairly common and it makes sense really, most people turn to doing bad stuff because they have no other way left.
He wasn't evil, he just wanted stability for everyone and certain people who threatened that eg Nagato and co, got taken out. Its what Danzo worked towards as well, its about the greater good.
Orochimaru was pretty evil though, and so is Sasuke. We still have a fair bit of evil left. Or is it just stupidity?
Chouji needs to get his act together, what an idiot. Unless its all part of Shikhamaru's plan I guess.

Good chapter Mifune and Hanzou's past was very interesting. Now to team Asumas fight which will probably result in Asuma being fully controlled by kabuto and Team 10 going all out to stop him at least thats what I thinck will happen.
